★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in with no expectations and to browse trail shoes and came out with the perfect pair for my wide feet with low arches! The gentleman who helped me (maybe they owner?) was extremely friendly, patient and so knowledgeable. He knew what shoes would be suitable for my feet and goals and showed me a variety without pressuring me in any way. I am truly amazed at the services. I will definitely be coming here again for any shoes I need in the future as they have a large and high quality selection, even for my “hard to fit” feet! Prices are comparable to other stores. I am so happy I don’t have to shop around at different stores anymore as I think I’ve found my go to place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Managed to get the Alphaflys in the Watermelon colorway from forerunners. Their Website was easy to use and did not lag which was great as it was an anticipated release. They also shipped my purchase the day of and I received them within 5 business days (shipping was free) which is fantastic given I am on the other end of the country. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow this is seriously a 5 star shopping experience for a runners and everyone that wanted to buy a new pair of shoes. I ordered a pair of runners at 9:55 AM. Then at 10:04 AM I got a tracking number notification via email. It turned out that I had ordered a wrong pair and people over at the store were so warm and welcoming they quickly changed my order to the correct pair. I couldn't be happier with my shopping experience at Forerunners store on W 4th. There you can find some of the best and knowledgeable people in the industry. Once again thank you very much and have a wonderful fall/winter season.

I also had some gift cards I had been hanging onto for a while, but unfortunately I was not able to use them online. I called the West 4th store and Peter was exceedingly helpful in finding the shoes I needed, processing my payment, and arranging shipping to my home. Karen, Ann-Marie both gave me sufficient time to understand a flat feet requirements and showed genuine interest in finding the right pair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Customer service and product EXCELLENCE! The guys and gals at Forerunners repeatedly prove to me that they are by far the best around the city. I have kept returning to them for athletic shoes for almost two decades now. I find they are the extremely knowledgeable about how their various products fit and are highly experienced in difficult to fit situations like mine. Every visit over the years has been productive and also a total pleasure! How rare is that, right? Today my thanks go to Akio who was nothing short of stellar in his assistance. He helped me with a challenging request on a difficult to fit foot. He completely listened to what I was trying to accomplish and all his suggestions were targeted to solve my situation. He was determined to find a solution and we ended up with multiple very good options. In addition, he was very patient and extremely kind during the process. I have nothing but amazing things to say about these guys. Thanks to everyone who has helped me there over the years!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dictionary definition of customer service. Good product, knowledgeable and helpful service. Today I was helped by Annemarie, who impressed me with both her genuinely kind and helpful attitude, as well as her professional knowledge of both her products and foot health and function. She was patient, thorough, and listened to my needs, not only in terms of what kind of shoes I needed, but also keeping in mind my budget.
While you can get decent customer service in most places, Annemarie took it to an exceptional level you don’t often experience. I highly recommend Forerunners. Shoutout also to the support given to her by the store owner/manager, who unobtrusively cleared away shoes we’d decided against. I only found out her role when I asked to speak to the manager so I could tell them how amazing Annemarie was.
This place truly runs on teamwork, decency, and respect for both the customer and among the staff and owner. Best place in town for running shoes.
