From the start, Tim was absolutely amazing, very friendly, prompt, accommodating and easy to work with. He certainly helped ease the stress of planning the big day. The food was wonderful and we heard nothing but great things from our guests. My husband and I are so happy with our choice to go with this company and would definitely recommend!

Many guests commented on how they enjoyed the food and that it was the best wedding food they have had. The service was exceptional, the servers were professional and courteous while maintaining a friendly demeanour. We started planning a couple of years ago and the wedding finally came together. Food for Thought was part of the planning from the beginning. Their professionalism (and prices) did not waver from start to finish. It was an outdoor wedding and reception at the bride and groom's (and mother's) home. The caterers came in and set up everything and looked after everyone until the end of the night. The food was excellent with a variety of choices offered. My daughter and son in law chose the salmon and steak and there was also a vegetarian option for the main course selections. This along with their choices of innovative salads, roast potatoes and pastries were all delicious. As mother of the bride I missed the appies but all had great reviews. The great service continued until late as the reception went on until the wee hours and I am sure the young staff (who were excellent) stayed past their allotted time to assure all was well. Everything was picked up on Monday all without work on our end. Again, everything was looked after seamlessly from beginning to end. I highly recommend Food For Thought Caterers. Thanks again to Tim and staff.

We chose the 'Summer BBQ' option for our wedding of 50, and added a charcuterie board and fresh-chucked oysters for cocktail hour. The guests were raving and we were able to take any leftovers home (awesome bonus). All the food was fresh, local and flavourful. Tim was our point person from start to finish and Patrick led the team the day of the wedding. Both were so friendly, accommodating, professional and prompt. There were nice touches like bouquets of flowers on the catering tables. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat!

We decided to move our indoor wedding to outdoors 6 weeks before the day and didn't have a caterer #notrecommended #covidwedding. One of the most important areas of a wedding (other than the love ;)) is the FOOD! Our guests raved about the quality, variety and taste of our buffet. Each staff member from Food For Thought was kind, friendly, accommodating and professional. We had no leftovers, our guests were stuffed and the overall cost didn't hurt our wallet. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, the foods was awesome, my daughter was very impressed on how they made special food for people with special needs. Tim was very professional, we did have one issue and Tim was right on it, and assured me everything would be alright which it was. The staff were professional and easy to approach if I had any questions. The day couldn't have been any better. Thank You Food for Thought.

I'm glad we did - as others have said, Tim was exceptional - he was accessible, realistic, provided good advice, steered us well. The catering/serving team was friendly, fun, professional. The food was well-received...I can recommend the "Salmon 4 Ways" in particular - a crowd favourite. The price all-in was reasonable too, a welcome feature when all the other wedding costs just keep adding up and up and up. Well worth every penny, I mean nickel!

Tim was my point of contact and he was friendly, prompt in his responses and super helpful in helping us make decisions. We ordered canapés and I was a little nervous we wouldn’t have enough food but we had so much and even some leftover. The price was exceptional especially since it included set up , take down, table and cutlery rentals, staff and gratuity. Emily and Patrick worked the event and they were so professional, friendly and excellent workers. We will for sure use Food for Thought again and again! Thank you to the whole team!
