Also went back again for brunch but was much busier. Wait times are expected and tables seated very close together. Line etiquette was not respected when we were there as we saw a couple jump the queue.
Food quality during brunch is good but found it hard to hear while dining. Both the host and us had to repeat ourselves several times while during our brunch, we found it hard to hear each other. We measured the decibel level at the restaurant and it averaged at 71db which is equivalent to a vacuum cleaner. Difficulty hearing speech begins after 70db. It would be great if the cafe can install acoustic panels to lower the echo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the pleasure of enjoying a Saturday lunch here a few weeks ago and couldn't have been more delighted. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and that pork belly sandwich was hands down the best burger we've ever had.. My wife and I sat there after the first bite staring at each other trying to understand what we were just experiencing ? so hearty, flavourful and delicious.
Be sure to ask for their special hot sauce to accompany your order and thank the chef/owner. Amazing people. Will definitely come again on our next visit to Vic.

Decor inside is a mix of boho mixed with industrial accented with some african arts...
Nice selection of pipe-in music but sometimes a bit loud for my hearing..
Casual and very friendly service but not disruptive..
The main thing is the food.. simple approach yet lovely and you can literally taste the passion and love on the food .. the african bowl is a must try and must ask for the "special home-made sauce".. i also enjoyed the banana bread french toast (tbh, it's a bit dry) but the home-made whip cream gives a big remedy on it..
Overall delighted! Want to try and explore more this house ..

Had the Hippie Benny and regular breakfast, along with the chia vegan mousse. Wow..what can I say..best breakfast ever and am not vegan. Takes breakfast to the next level!

What's great here? Everything, the food is incredible, the plating is great and the service is outstanding. The
food is inventive but fully satisfying. I cannot say enough about the place.

I love the unpretentious fine-dining vibe this place has. It's fine dining only in all the right ways! You can feel that every plate is thoughtfully made with love, great quality materials, and the flavor is tastefully balanced to perfection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this place randomly when looking for some breakfast, and what a little gem this is! First of all, all the staff we encountered were all very friendly and warm. This cafe with a casual vibe has an appetizing brunch menu, serving elevated, unpretentious, wholesome & hearty food, with subtle African flares. They also offer a good selection of vegetarian options, and the coffee was great too! Their dinner menu looks fantastic as well, especially after reading all of the other Google reviews—can’t wait to try it out next time I visit the island!
