This company is a scam for sure. The service is terrible, customer service is a joke all they care about is to take your money. Stay away from them. I called to cancel in November. Customer rep told me everything is good with the cancellation no need to do anything else. Dec came around bills kept coming contacted customer service again and was made aware that had to write a cancellation letter. Wrote cancellation letter sent it in Dec/21. The service is still active even though I have another alarm system in my home. Panel is off my wall and cameras taken down. The absolute worst company I’ve dealt with in my life…False promises and lies this company should be reported and charged. They are nothing but a scam. Stay clear…as far as your sorry lol you obviously truly are not…It should take but one call for a disconnection to take place. But it seems people have to go to the extremes of placing stop payment orders or even closing bank accounts which clearly indicates you are simply after their money even when they no longer require your service which is by definition fraud…wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain. You are nothing more than a criminal…

Please please do not use this company. We have been very patient for 4 years. Paying $77 a month for cameras that have not worked since they installed them. Many phone calls many promised and nothing. They keep passing the buck.. They said if we sign another contract today they would come replace them. Maybe.. Seriously we signed 5 years and the system is useless. We just want a company that cares about our safety.

My contract with fluent is up. I have tried to contact them several times since July 2021 to cancel my services as I’m no longer using them. Each time I contact them they explain I have to await a call back from their cancellation department (which conveniently can’t be reached directly.) it is now February 2022 and I have had no luck in having these services cancelled. They have been stealing from me since July 2021, taking money directly from my bank account in spite of my multiple attempts to cancel. I spoke to a man at the resolutions department today who spoke over me and was quite rude trying to tell me that it is not sufficient to call or email, that I have to write a signed letter to cancel my services. (Not one person that I had spoken to prior in these months told me I needed to write a letter, they told me I had to wait for the cancellation department to call me back.) He had more interest in arguing and talking down to me about how they were within their rights to keep stealing from me than he was in helping me resolve this issue. Fluent is a scam company and they are thieves, plain and simple. Do not use this company unless you enjoy being stolen from and disrespected.

The gentleman who helped us with everything we needed to change following a death was brilliant. The company as a whole was prompt in action but this man stayed through every setting change and educated me and my mother about the system as a whole which we needed. He let us test setting and showed us remote things that we didn't know about. I will rave about this security company to everyone I know.

Fluent has been great so far! Their customer service and communication is fantastic. When one of our motion sensors was tripped, I spoke with Katy (sorry if the spelling is incorrect!) and we walked through what the issue could be (no break in luckily!). She was absolutely fantastic! Thanks!

We were having issues with our panel not responding to the network. Katie at customer support was very friendly, helpful and gave prompt service. Thankfully the technician she passed us onto was help able to fix our issue over the phone. Great customer service ! Thank you Fluent .

This company is the biggest scam company I have ever dealt with. We had a fire at our location and wondered why the alarm never went off. Apparently the installation from the Fluent crew cut the smoke and heat detection wires and did not install more as they are not allowed to in commercial settings in our province. After finding this out we went with another company and switched everything out. They still to this day charge me for monitoring services that are not being used. I have to pay for several more years for nothing. All of their equipment has been removed but they still charge me monthly fees and there is nothing I can do. Please if you read this, do not ever Trust or Use any products from Fluent. No I am done calling Fluent back as well as after over 20 times the same thing happens. NOTHING!!

Put me down as 1 more furious customer who was unable to cancel with these scam artists. We switched to Ring, which DOES offer professional monitoring too, at only $15/mo, and has exceptional hardware backed by a modern business. Good riddance, Fluent! Fluent will tell you your account has been cancelled, even in writing, but they're lying! I was mis-charged only once, which sounds like I was lucky compared to most, but it took 6-8 hours on the phone over the span of 8 weeks to get my account closed. The only way I succeeded in cancelling was by brown-nosing a support rep, instead of acting on my immense frustration, until she broke protocol and directly contacted the Resolution Department over their internal message system. Somehow this got through and the guy called me that day. A Christmas miracle. After 5 years of Fluent with only a few minor problems, and admittedly mediocre hardware, we discovered Ring at $15/mo instead of $60/mo. It was worth buying all new hardware and will be a positive investment in 18 months, I believe. And the Ring hardware is WAY better. Yes, they offer professional monitoring, just like Fluent. Fluent is going down the toilet, but they deserve it. I hope this review helps to get them there.
