About FLEET BRAKE

The history of our business goes back to 1914 when Henry McCoy moved to Edmonton from Montreal and opened a blacksmith shop in downtown Edmonton. In 1923, the advent of the Model T coupled with Alberta's rough roads provided Henry with the inspiration and opportunity to open a spring manufacture and repair business. The original family carried on the business of providing heavy-duty truck services for the next 88 years. In 1978, Fleet Brake was created by the Bzeta family and over the next several decades, parts sales, truck service repair and maintenance operations were expanded both geographically and in product offerings. In 2011, the Real McCoy Service Centres was acquired by Fleet Brake. With a century old legacy of serving the commercial vehicle business, Fleet Brake is positioned well for the next 100 years

Not honoring the warranties they sell and they charge more than any place in the north side. The parts are cheap for a reason. No more business from me.

I called the day before I needed an appointement for an alignement, they told me to show up next morning witch I did. The next morning when I showed up they tell me they are full until the next day and with a bad attitude.

Took my Envoy in for a simple front end alignment as had some work done to it at another place. Brought it in at about 12 pm waited a half hour before it was looked at only to be told it need both upper and lower ball joints and a an alignment wasnt possible the way it was. I said that's odd as I just had a bunch of work done on the front end and there was no mention of ball joints. Fleet brake said they could do the work for about $1200. I said hold that idea.... I'll take it back to my guy. They pulled out my Envoy and charged me $68 roughly cost of the front end alignment for a hoist and inspection. TOOK BACK TO MY MECH ABOUT THE BALL JOINTS NOT A THING WRONG!!!! MY EXPERIENCE WON'T RECOMMEND! !

Took my Peterbilt truck in for an alignment they told me the king pins needed replacing. Got them professionally replaced took it back they took brand new king pins out replaced them and charged me for work they did not need to do they are a crooked bad repair shop. They lied that the guy who did the work put them in upside down when it’s not even possible to do. They are lying cheats that should never be trusted.

Excellent service by the knowledgeable staff at Fleet Brake. They diagnosed the issue quickly. It was a big job to handle the full ABS system problem and the replacement from end to end. Fleet Brake and specifically Dale in service, handled the job very professionally and had excellent progress communication with me throughout the service time. Highly recommend this company!

One of their drivers just ran a red coming off of wellington turning onto Century, almost hitting me. Luckily I was able to hit the brakes fast enough. It was obvious he purposefully ran the red. Guy managed to save 2 seconds on his trip. Congrats. This guy is going to kill someone driving like that 10:40 AM Sept 2nd 2021
