Avoid, avoid, avoid! Came in for a safety inspection. Staff didn't follow up with the equipment owner on the tire shop outcall. As a result, tire replacement which normally takes about an hour had me waiting there for five hours! Furthermore, after them "fixing" my license plate light all of my marker lights quit working just after a few days and forced me to pay another visit to a shop. Apparently picking at the licence plate that day exposed some wiring which in turn caused corrosion. Great job fellas! Thanks for nothing!

I was experiencing a vibration in my 1999 class A motor home. After calling a few places I decided to try Westrans because I was thinking it was something in the drive line, rear axle or transmission. Since the engine light was on, they 1st looked at the engine diagnostic codes. They told me right away there were 2 error codes and that this was the cause of the vibration - however they did not have the proper equipment to fix the issue. They suggested I take the unit to a Ford Dealer for the repair. They did not charge me a cent for this diagnosis and were extremely good about helping me find a suitable Ford shop to get the repairs done. I was very happy with this service and would not hesitate to go back if I had another issue that they could solve. Thanks Jen and the crew at Westrans, for your honesty and professionalism.

I've had to bring driveshafts back after having them built at Wes Trans because they did not check to make sure the runout was within specifications and it caused driveline vibrations on my truck. They also did not check the universal joints for binding after installation. I checked the runout myself on my truck and found it was more than double what it should have been. This is unacceptable when you have one guy specialized in doing this all day every day. I explained this is a high performance truck and what it is used for. They fixed the runout issue and I addressed any other small issues not worth bringing back. Some parts are very overpriced as well. On one occasion I remember driving down to Piston Ring to purchase lifetime warranty universal joints for a shaft they were building me because WesTrans pricing was almost double and the part carried only a one year warranty. Employees don't seem very happy. Seems to be a bit of a toxic work environment. Dimly lit work area as well when I was last there. I shouldn't have to check over someone elses professional work after paying good money only to find problems but unfortunately it is becoming all too common these days.

They got our truck in for repair in an extremely quick fashion. They have a great warranty. We will see how it is, as they still have the truck. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Jen was very good at keeping us informed of the progress.

4 years ago I purchased a 1997F350 with a highway service wrecker mounted on it( heavy duty towtruck). My first diesel and heavy truck. This was my 2nd time at Westrans with this truck and both times I am overjoyed at the result. They have a fellow in service named Kieth, second time he took my truck for a drive and pinpointed the issue by feel and instinct then ran diagnostic to verify his gut feeling. The man is a truck whisperer! Jennifer at the service desk is fantastic too. Nice to deal with someone that obviously enjoys her job.

Went to westrans for some 2 guage wire to hookup my power inverter found out after him cutting our wire; not only were we getting charged for the wire and ends but it was gonna be $16 dollar a crimp!!!!. For what we needed we could've bought the crimp tool(which apparently wasn't for customer use) even though it was right under the wire. Horrible customer service aswel. We ended up going to fleet brake across the street and they were able to help us out at a fraction of The cost. Good job westrans, Never going back. *add on* please make sure you don't have to take anything back to this place. Their return policy is horrible, one of worst in the city, I've been waiting 6 months for a $60 warranty return. Isn't that ridiculous.*add on* went in there and wasn't even greeted with a smile or a hello, there's no friendly faces there at all but they did finally get back to me and I got my refund. Thankgod I didn't buy a motor from them. I will never step back into your store after this whole fiasco.
