It's the place to go if you want the best workout you can get in 1 hour and have fun doing it too, but once you get beyond wanting just a workout, it's a great place to advance into MMA. All of the coaches/trainers were all previously students of Mr. Franco and they are all amazing fighters and trainers. The FKP MMA kids program is simply the best you will find in BC. Mr. Franco and the coaches are all very patient with the kids and makes learning fun. The best part is when you train at FKP MMA you become a part of a family!

Within those four walls I've been working on my craft all the way to became the 4x BFL Heavyweight Champion with a professional record of 6-1-1 and the #1 HW in Canada. This is definitely the best place to learn MMA in Canada regardless of experience level.

Trainning at such an impressionable age helped me a lot with my self confidence and diligence, which also tied into how I was outside of the dojo as well within school and my friend groups. Mr. Franco and the coaching staff are amazing people who really do care about the progress you make in martial arts and the people you train with are just as great. Overall I would recommend FKP to anyone wanting to learn martial arts or even just how to defend themselves in a worst case scenario.

I started when I was 12 years old and the coaching staff has always provided a welcoming atmosphere with some of the most skilled and friendly people I have ever met. Coming from a background in the Cadets, I love the structure and teaching style that Mr. Franco provides. FKP MMA is an amazing place to get the best quality training you will ever receive.

She is now 7 and we completely trust her with the Mr. Franco, Mr. Martin and the team of coaches and mentors they've assembled. So yes - if you're sitting there reading this review and especially if you're a girl dad/mom, no hesitations. All the coaches really are like a live group of Marvel characters - each with their own strengths and abilities that they bring to the collective table that these kids just love and look up to. Confidence, discipline, respect, fun and fitness - that's just the tip of the iceberg of what is being taught here.

My son, who has autism, is proud and confident for the first time ever after training with Mr. Franco. My 16 year old daughter feels strong and powerful after training with Mr. Martin, Miss. Demers, Mr. Machado and Mr. Franco. My kids are getting great exercise and gaining muscle strength. But what’s even more, they are learning respect for themselves and others. I have been training for about 7 years now and having initially start in the junior program, I have progressed to the adult program and am looking to compete in my first tournament. Starting a program in a new environment can be intimidating , but trust me Mr. Franco and the coaches are very nice and welcoming. Mr. Franco is kind of like a teddy bear on the inside. I would highly recommend training here, whether you are new to martial arts or have previous experience.
