The technician was so awesome he explained to us alllll about our fireplace and how to clean it and how it works etc. He was very friendly, worked efficiently , and even came early (he called us to let us know). Will be coming back to them for all our fireplace needs!

D	David Glass on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I recently contracted Fix Fireplaces to perform service work on our two gas inserts (upstairs & downstairs), and I wanted to let folks know how pleased we were with their work. Fix’s technician Mike arrived precisely on time, had a pleasant demeanour, and was very efficient at identifying the issues with both fireplace inserts. He replaced the fan blower on our basement unit as well as a faulty switch on our upstairs insert. At no time did he try to upsell additional services, and reassured us that our fireplaces would serve us well for years to come. A little later in the day, we realized that the downstairs fireplace fan was not shutting off after cooldown as it had prior to the servicing. So we called Fix and spoke to the owner (Todd) who listened thoughtfully to our issue and promised to dispatch Mike for a return visit the next day. Today Mike showed up as promised, explained what he had missed and took full ownership of his work. Fix Fireplace turned what could have been a negative into a very positive customer experience. We heartily recommend their services!

The pilot light kept going out in the cold weather and we were worried we might have a major repair; he came in fully prepared for the fix, cleaned the fireplace and was super knowledgeable. Quick, friendly and professional. We will be sharing this information with our condo board in case other units are looking for fireplace repairs or cleaning.

Highly recommend this service, they got our 24+ year old fireplace running better than ever after a good cleaning, removing a superfluous switch that the original install had utilized and replacing the defective thermopile.

A couple weeks later, Mike came out and did a great job. He repaired my gas fireplace that would always fire up. My tenants said Mike was great, on-time, professional, and contacted them before he came (as I directed). He did the job within the budget I gave them and sent me the invoice the next day. I had called a couple days prior to the appointment to confirm and Todd (I assume the owner) called me back later that afternoon which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this company and will be using them again for further cleaning, maintenance and repairs. I can trust that they will do the job properly without trying to take advantage of my situation being out of town. When you find companies and people like this you need to keep them on speed dial.

They stuck with the stated labor charge and there were no hidden surcharges. Todd reassembled it with care making sure the flames and glow of the ‘stuff’ was correct. Todd cleaned up all mess and even vacuumed up the area with his portable vacuum. I would recommend Fix Fireplace to anyone.

John, the serviceman who came, was pleasant, explained each step thoroughly and worked very efficiently. After cleaning the fireplace, he determined one piece had to be replaced. He went back to the shop for the piece and returned after finishing his other jobs rather than scheduling another appointment. This was all done on a Saturday!!! My fireplace looks great and is working perfectly. Being new to Calgary, it was very reassuring to have such a friendly and positive experience. Highly recommend!
