H	Heather Sanderson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter and I have just spent 4 wonderful nights at Carene’s B&B on Fisherman’s wharf. Staying in a float house has always been on my bucket list of things to do and this exceeded my expectations. Carene is a gracious host and has made efficient use of a small space in the ivy room, my only wish would have been a chest of drawers. Armed with a bottle of wine and charcuterie plate, our floating deck was the best way to spend the end of our busy days.

Although the place is very well located unfortunately two major flaws can affect the experience: i) you have to pay attention to what appliances you use simultaneously otherwise the circuit breaker goes off; ii) the toilet gets clogged really easy regardless of what you put in. The owner should advise these two major inconvenients beforehand or via website to give the chance to the customers to think about it and not only once on site.

It had a balcony attached to room so we could be over the water to view other boats and sea planes taking off, private bath and great internet. Carene (owner) suggested places to see and eat while in Victoria. It was nice to be right on Fisherman,s Wharf. You get a voucher for breakfast at Imagine Cafe and it was delicious and people very friendly. We will definitely stay there again but next time hopefully longer. C	Colin Forrest on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Carene is fabulous! What a great place to stay. Although we rented a car, we walked everywhere from the b&b, downtown is a nice 20 min walk. Water taxis run from right outside the b&b if you would rather a boat ride. We also recommend Heron's Rock Bistro, Rachel was also fantastic.
n	nancy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the Poppy room and it was fantastic! Very clean and welcoming with extra amenities if needed. Breakfast was included and we woke up to a beautiful sunrise on the water. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Victoria.

The owner is one of the kindest people we've met during our travels. The house boat is clean and well maintained. Breakfast (which is included) at a nearby Cafe is a fantastic option and the food is great. Our only disappointment is that you can no longer feed the harbour seals at the wharf - one of our favourite activities. They didn't even come by during our three days there.

The suite was very clean and comfortable with a little fridge and coffee maker. The owner is lovely! Very friendly with respect to privacy, and a fabulous cook. I would definitely recommend the B&B to anyone who is going to be visiting Victoria.
