★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing boat and super friendly and knowledgeable staff! It’s awesome to see the passion everyone has for both the wildlife as well as creating a memorable experience for their customers.
Also one of the few companies which do sunset tours, which is a magical time for photography! Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experience on board! This was my first BC boat trip after moving to Victoria and starting work with Ocean Wise. Spectacular encounter with some curious humpbacks (so many seen!) and the team went out of their way to try and find us some killer whales on the trip also - which was a success! Informative and professional team, the boat is comfy and easily accessible and the extras provided (rain pants, windbreakers etc) are super handy for the ever-changing conditions. 10/10 recommend and hope to see you again soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reserved this tour based on the reviews and we were extremely satisfied! Had an incredible time on the water, got to see many whales, seals, and got stunning views of Mount Olympus and Mount Baker. Our captain and the crew were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time on this tour. We found whales basically 5 minutes into the boat tour. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable. They supplied windbreaker jackets if you were cold when outside. I really enjoyed this. The trip to the protected islands with all of the wildlife and lighthouse was just great. I will go on this again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing adventure and good times. It was my first whale search experience for my birthday. Mel and Pete honestly made the experience amazing and easy going. Good times and fun and highly recommend this duo and if ever visiting Victoria I say go see them :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful day with the staff from Eagle Wing Whale. They are very knowledgeable of the area and the animals you see on your trip. We were lucky enough to see 3 humpbacks with one being a young calf. The boat we chose was beautiful and navigated the rough water with ease. A covered heated area was available to warm up in or sit in for the journey to and from the whales. Your boarding pass doubles as a discount card at many of the restaurants on fisherman’s wharf which was a nice touch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tour company with amazing staff who are very knowledgeable about the area and the whales! We were very lucky and got to see a grey whale up close, as well as many other sea animals around the area! Slightly pricey for our family of 5 but I would say well worth the experience! Make sure to bring multiple layers and a windbreaker, toque and gloves!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was amazing and they really do love their jobs! Definitely recommend them, and if you don’t happen to see any whales when you go out with them then your next trips till you see whales is free. Also a beautiful boat ride on its own.
