★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed. I have been on many whale watches on both coasts and not once have I not seen a single animal other than seagulls. The boat is NOT set up well for whale watching. It is set up to get as many paying people on board as possible. I see why they have a no refund policy....they cannot find the whales. I can drive my boat a mile from launch and at least find a dolphin. BUYER BEWARE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took the zodiac out an hour to the Orcas. We saw them from a very far distance for 10 minutes. Looked at the sea lions for another 10. Then we looked for a mystery wolf for the last 10 minutes before heading back. The boat ride of over 2 hours was miserable (Rough seas and being stuffed in a suit where you can't move). The 10 minutes of the Orcas was not worth the trip. Waste of money

Mick took us on an amazing trip took us right to the resident J-pod orcas we saw approx. 20-27 of the pod and Mick was super informative and we could easily tell he has a passion for orcas and marine wild life. Great trip can't wait to come back on our next visit!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently took a trip on one of the Zodiac boats an had an amazing time! Not only did we see a number of orcas (with at least 3 breaches), but our captain, Mick, was simply incredible. Not only was he friendly, funny, and informative, he gave us a ride that we'll never forget! We've been saying ever since the trip that, even if we hadn't seen killer whales, it would have been worth every cent!
Good job, guys! We're already looking forward to visiting you again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I booked an outing on the last day we were in town for my work conference. Scheduling changes put us on a full size boat instead of the zodiac we originally requested. At first, I was very disappointed because I felt sure the boat ride wouldn’t be nearly as fun or allow me the up close and personal outing I had my heart set on. I’m embarrassed to say I just went to the interior cabin, and sat down to mope. I’d had to work on my birthday in a different country, had had a rough work week, and a bucket list nature outing had been a let down, or so I thought. Then Rachael, the naturalist, explained where we were going, and what to expect.
Then the whales were spotted, and I stepped out on the back deck to see. Rachael stayed and took pictures from that deck, and explained what we were seeing. Her excitement was contagious, and before I knew it I was beaming. Then we got to the lighthouse, and got to see Ollie (otters are one of my favorites), and all the sea lions and seals. Best yet, was all of her awesome photos of the animals would be included in our package. Rachael absolutely saved this outing for me. She didn’t have to be nice to me, but she sensed I was disappointed, and her kindness helped me reframe my attitude. She later explained that I wouldn’t have gotten any closer to the sea life on the zodiac due to regulations, and I had a bathroom on the boat. ? I still follow the company on Flickr, and love the photos they post. I’ll definitely come back if I’m up that way again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well organised with hotel pick-up. Boat was comfortable and commentary from both marine naturalists was interesting and informative. Pity that the orcas didn't show, but two hump back whales made a brief appearance.
