★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my doubts, going fishing in the heat. If fishing supposedly tails off during the heat of July… this lake is crazy! The heat of July 2021 and we were in spots on the lake that brought in constant catches. Double hitters became a regular occurrence... in the heat! If you want to enjoy the experience, Brian Lindsay knows the spots to be in.
No equipment required, Fish Rule Custom Adventures has it all… Brian and Jean look after almost everything. Plan for and bring your own lunch/dinner. Jean and Brian keep your essentials cold so afterwards, you can relax. Use a BBQ, setup for clients, in the wonderful surroundings of a beautifully landscaped back yard.
I cannot wait until our fourth visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the opportunity to book a fishing experience with Fish Rules Custom Adventure this summer. The experience was beyond expectation! Brian and Jean were both so welcoming and professional. We had a beautiful day on the water and we were lucky in “catch” too due to Brian’s experience and expertise of the lake. My son has the fishing bug and Brian was able to give him and I tips to improve our skills. So thankful for this experience and will definitely do it again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the pleasure of taking my family out on a fishing trip on Wabamun Lake with Fish Rule Custom Adventures. What a fabulous time we all had.
Brian and Jean were extremely accommodating, as we ended up moving our trip date a couple of times due to weather. Brian wanted to ensure that we were safe out on the water and experienced the best time possible with the weather.
Fishing is not something that my family and I have a great deal of experience with, but Brian had everyone trained up and catching fish in no time. He was extremely accommodating with a young child in our group who had in her words "the best time ever". She is already asking to go back.
Brian and Jean's setup is absolutely amazing. The boat, fishing gear, campfire, etc are all top notch. Nothing but the best.
Thank you Brian and Jean for an absolutely wonderful day out on the lake and great time back at your place around the campfire. You made our family feel like we were part of your family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing day!! I'm not much of a fisherman but my husband loves it...I had just as much fun as he did! In addition to fishing we had a tour of the lake, saw loons, ducks and pelicans, all while enjoying the day on the boat. Brian and Jean were amazing hosts, they even invited us to enjoy their beautiful yard at the end of the day. We had a firepit and everything we needed to bbq after a wonderful day on the water. I highly recommend Fish Rule and will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Top Notch Experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our day of fishing on lake Wabamun and it was a top notch experience from the moment we arrived. Brian and Jean are very hospitable hosts and we could tell they were genuinely interested in ensuring we all enjoyed the day. The service at Fish Rule Adventures was excellent and they're also very professional in their approach to safety. The fishing was great and we took them up on their invitation to use their bbq & fire pit and enjoy their beautiful yard after fishing. Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great time fishing and really was pleased that the lake was a catch and release lake. I have caught a lot of northern pike fishing but never this big. We had a perfect day on the water and caught a lot of fish including walleye. Brian and Jean are excellent hosts and Brian knows this lake extremely well. If you are thinking about fishing this Lake it would be a good idea for you to get someone like Brian to show you around the lake first.

My husband and I received a fishing trip for an anniversary gift. Brian and Jean were so kind and welcoming! This was my first time fishing and Brian was full of stories and knowledge about fishing and the lake. This was a great adventure, an amazing day and fun for all! Can't wait to go out again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked an adventure with Fish Rule for Father's Day 2021 as a surprise for my husband-it was amazing! Brian and Jean were so accommodating and fantastic with my kids and family, it felt like a mini vacation. We lucked out with a great day for fishing and caught lots of fish. I thoroughly enjoyed their beautiful property and the having a fire after our time on the lake. I would highly recommend fishing with Fish Rule, can't wait to go again!
