Great institution with friendly service. I dealt with Mahinder Chawla and Josh Rigby who were very informative and made me feel that my investments are secure there.

Incompetence at its finest. No follow up, providing incorrect information. Sending false information about missed payments. Avoid at all costs.

Absolute pathetic service whether that be in branch or through email. Branch Manager does not give full attention, she is not at all welcoming, her attitude is as if she has been forced to fulfill her job duties. When I took my issue to the branch, I felt as if I am guilty of a crime unless otherwise proven. I would never have opened my account here and I have been trying to transfer my home branch. Super highly NOT recommended. Upper Middle Branch is much better. I would recommend higher management of First Ontario Credit Union that this branch staff should either be replaced or otherwise should be closed permanently.

I had a terrible experience with this branch and a lady named Melanie. I booked an appointment to inquiry about an autoloan. Not only was I put into "a box" by the consultant from the moment I stepped into her office I was asked in several different ways why I was applying through them, and not my own bank or through a dealership and was questioned about my financial ability to be approved. There was no prep given for the meeting, I wasn't told to bring any paperwork and when I asked why I wasn't told Melanie explained that she was the only person in that branch that week and that is was her responsibility to call me in advance but she didn't have the time. I had to take time off of work, this has delayed my ability to start the process to be approved for a loan and I was treated poorly and left feeling like they didn't wanted my business. I've never had such poor customer service, I would not reccomend this branch to anyone.

Melanie stayed late when I opened an account back in 2015 or so. That was AMAZING service! - Fast forward to the last few interactions and they have all been awesome! - Joshua Rigby is definitely the king of balancing customer needs/requests with corporate objectives! - Special shout out to the tellers whom work behind that counter- You're doing awesome too! :)
