An opportunity to relocate to British Columbia for our retirement came up. For ten years, our house had been home to a busy career-minded mom and dad and four very busy teenagers now all leaving the nest. Old lighting, out of date colors all needed lots of work. Being DIY-capable, we decided to prepare everything to "move-in ready" condition for the new owners. We began to identify the tasks that would allow us to keep our house sale within our control and our timing. We got our whole family on-board our renovation. Our research indicated that much better prices came with the May Spring house market. Our research also showed us that a well-staged house will absolutely generate offers in a very short time. Our color and lighting plans materialized into a new space that amazed and delighted us both. Ginny's team staged our home beautifully, soon generating a number of offers.
