P	Penny Hodges on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Initially I had thought that Farmboy was expensive but after a couple of years of being back in Canada and having shopped at all the local supermarkets I have realized the differences. Produce I purchase at Farmboy actually lasts longer then the rest and the flavour is more (my favourite-organic tricolour corn on the cob). They also carry items that you can’t necessarily find locally elsewhere (canned butter beans, jarred olives without garlic, different types of gluten/dairy free items). And the meat doesn’t look grey or smell old, so all in all I’ve saved a lot of money with a lot less waste. I still shop at the other supermarkets for items they don’t stock but for freshness, and convince I go to Farm-boy.

There are never big lines and I would say the prices are quite reasonable given the quality of the products. They also have my favorite bagels from Ottawa which is an added bonus.
D	Daryl Tremain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Farm Boy's produce is, in general, very good to excellent. When in season, local berries, apples, veggies are available. The organic sections for vegetables and for fruit are fairly large. In addition, there are good quality fish and meats for sale, some of which are marinated or stuffed. I love the freshly made turkey and chicken sausages - gluten-free. Unusual sauces and condiments, interesting beers, bulk nuts are for sale. There is an extensive and delicious salad bar, a sushi bar, and healthy prepared meals to choose from. I shop here once a week for almost all my produce, as well as dairy, salad dressings, special sauces, curries. The staff is mostly very pleasant, friendly and helpful. We are very lucky to have a Farm Boy in Kingston!

Bakery is great. Meat and dairy products are both average. The employees are helpful, efficient and friendly. The entrance into the store is a bottle neck and cluttered. A reorganization of the entrance into the store would have given it a 5/5. I would rate it 4.6.

This specific store is a bit small and has less selection of pantry items and gluten free goods than some others I have been to, but I will continue to return for the produce alone!
