After I did a online quote they said I am pre approved for 12k , I asked how much interest, they said it will be 34% ??? , my credit cards are almost 20% and still they say helping me to pay off my credit cards . I dont understand that logic . So I said don't want it, then they said if I own a house , I would get 23k for 22 % which is not bad . I thought can pay off all the credit cards at a time . So started the processing, did my credit check and they wanted to add my wife too , done a credit check for her too. Finally we got approved 23k . Then they said to come to branch to sign the papers . When we went there , they said you have to come back again to sign papers , today I called you to talk about the loan face to face . Ok fine , we submitted property tax bill so it says clearly the value of house . Next step we have to pay $170 for property value assessments, they send some one to assess , most of time they don't send anyone. So I clearly asked , what happens my $170 if I dont get approved, They said don't worry about it , will be approved 100% sure and we signed the papers which saying 23k plus $170 . So I believed them and paid it . Then they said all done , will call you in couple of days to come back and get the money woowww nice. After 2 days I got call that it's not approved because they dont see that value on house . Come on guys you can see the value on property tax bill and I paid $170 to value assess . I asked what about my $170 , I need it back , they said no it won't get back , its non refundable. After all did credit check on me and my wife, paid $170 to assess my house value for nothing. Please don't go to these guys , they just loot our money . The guy did my case his name is George and the branch is selkirk MB . Don't go to these people.

You would think during a pandemic they would be understanding as every bank is being understanding and every car loan institution is being understanding as well. However they are cold and do not care about their customers only getting their money back. Will not be dealing with them again.
