I've seen a lot of theatre but I would say Factory Theatre is an excellent place to see theatrical or artistic performances in Toronto. I always enjoy seeing shows there in the summer because they have a nice court yard to enjoy a drink and some tables with umbrellas. The theatre is nice inside and offers good sight lines. I definitely recommend Factory Theatre!

Fantastic small theater in downtown Toronto. I've been coming here since grade school trips. They put on great shows. it's nice to have something like this in downtown Toronto especially now with all these condos going up around it. It's a little bit of the past in the ever-changing city. Hope it stays around for much longer.

Some of the bold and artsy local theatre happens at the Factory. I am a preview pass holder and it's well-worth the money. The Theatre premieres plays by a wide variety of artists from all backgrounds and ethnicities. You can get a good view from almost any seat. That said, if you want front row or the best seats then visiting the theatre a little early can help since seats are not numbered.

I'm unable to comment on most of the shows that they have at this venue, but I just saw a show there called Gods Like Us, and it was incredible. Pretty much everything I like about theatre was in this play. And the staff there were very friendly and accomodating, and they had a very good layout/atmosphere. All in all, just a really good place to see a show, and I definitely recommend going there.

Every single show I have seen at Factory Theater has been a memorable one. Usually you can find the best plays of Toronto there. The venue itself is non-pretentious and modest. There is a small cafeteria with limited choice of beverages and snacks. The best location for those who love theatre pure and simple.

200 comfortable seats are in this older building with renovated theatre area. Stage is large and well lit with a decent sound system. Wheelchairs would have limited mobility here, even with a recently installed elevator. Washrooms are clean and adiquate . Easily reached by public transit and only has street parking or public parking lots nearby. Staffed to a great extent by friendly volunteers who demonstrate a personal interest in the theatre. The play I saw recently had surprisingly good actors and actresses and was interesting and very well presented. My wife and I shall surely return to this reasonably priced gem.

This is was my first time visiting a theatre like that and that was amazing! Actors are so passionate and funny, play was hilarious and all people in the room were laughing all the time. Great atmosphere, will visit other events as well
