Thank you Alley for your patience and I’m sorry the night you experienced was so rough. We are only willing to give this restaurant another shot because of you.
R	Rina Alamag on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely, cozy setting. Not happy with our table: right in the narrow path of diners entering/exiting although there were other available tables for 2. Service was professional and competent. Calamari salad was somewhat disappointing. There were 2 small pieces of octopus on a bed of salad, granted the octopus was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of sear and was super tender. Delicious! Our meals were both delicious and tasty. Portions were adequate. Dessert of meringue with fresh strawberries & rhubarb was inspired and unique. I wanted to lick my plate!

Peter our server was fantastic and was a great conversationalist. First great impression was he had the specials memorized with all the details. I didn’t order any of them but kudos to him for the performance. My wife and I had split the Burrata cheese, and we both shared the Gnocchi and Pizza. The food was great. We didn’t leave a crumb. Albeit, it is a touch pricier than your average place, but you can tell it was not prepackaged good and the ingredients were well thought out to make sure the flavour profile was on point. You don’t get that at a Kelsey’s; so kudos to the chef. All in all, was a great night. Enjoyed several of their specialized cocktails to our enjoyment. Will go back again.

Chef Derek is outstanding. Overall, great experience, all staff very professional and we would for sure recommend this restaurant.

The desserts are especially good. Highly recommend.
S	Sella Anton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first visit to Fabbrica. My friend recommended even though her last halibut was dry. Our table had 2 halibut orders were flavourful and moist, burger order was good, short rib pasta dish was mostly just pasta and a couple small Pieces of beef. Two steak frite; one was too peppery but cooked as requested, my steak came too charred and well done. They made new steak that was cooked right however it definitely was not AAA beef and too salty for my liking. The size was really small (never seen a striploin so small before, ever!). Perhaps this is a problem with the thickness being 1/2 inch at most it is difficult to cook well. I feel if I can make a better steak at home, it takes the incentive out of dining out. I couldn’t have an appetizer as most items had canola oil in them. With a newly developed canola/ soy oil allergy it would have been nice if they had an option like vegetable or corn oil to have the shrimp calamari fried in. Even Caesar salad had canola so couldn’t have that. I did appreciate the vegetable side in lieu of fries. Overall the portion sizes are small, with exception of burger and pasta. I agree with other reviews that the food is a bit pricey for what you get. I may visit another time to give them the benefit of doubt that it was just an off night. Definitely no steak though.

The oysters…..I was in heaven! The warm Olives….my girl was in heaven!!! The food here is just so damn good. Patio is super cozy, wood oven pizza are real and dessert choices are short but perfect.
