About Expanding Imaginations Child Care
Julie Audy knew from a young age that she would be an Early Childhood Educator. She obtained her college certification in Early Childhood Education in 2001 in the Province of British Columbia and worked in a preschool for four years with two of those years as Program Supervisor. Julie moved back to her home town of Calgary, Alberta in 2006, and worked in facility- based early learning and child care programs before she opened a licensed dayhome in Canyon Meadows, Calgary that she ran for 3 years. Inclusion and play - based learning are two areas that hold Julie's passion; striving to ensure that no child is left behind.
Timothy Audy worked in restaurant, construction, and warehousing industries and earned supervisor positions within each one. Trained in Business Administration / E-Commerce Management, Timothy earned a ‘with distinction’ designation within the Province of British Columbia. Once in Calgary he took an entrepreneurial program and is certified as Child Development Assistant. The children think Tim's best skill is the magic tricks he shows them when he is onsite and they often call for him to come and play.
Together, with their individual experiences and strengths they ensure that Expanding Imaginations Child Care is well - maintained, and well operated. Living in the Parkland community in Calgary they take pride in being a part of the neighboring communities that surround their home and child care program. Success is reliant on a strong team and EICC can't provide quality early learning and childcare without the educators who work alongside them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son has been going here only a week after switching out of a day home and I already notice a change in him. He’s so happy when he comes home and so chatty! The teachers and Julie have been nothing short of amazing helping my little man transition. We get told at pick up how well he did that day and all the great activities he’s been doing with sensory tables, learning and discovering.
If your looking for a place to give you piece of mind for the care of your child I highly recommend Expanding Imaginations :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son has been going to this Daycare since day one and he loves it there so much. Julie and Tim are very caring, understanding, compassionate, hard working people. The staff are so kind and they are really passionate about their work. They are very proactive on keeping me up to date with my son's daily activities. The place is so clean and extremely organised! They serve amazing HOME COOKED meals to the children.
Finding a good daycare in the city is so hard to find. This daycare is one of a kind and we are so blessed to have found this place. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our little guy has been going to Expanding Imaginations for just over a month now and the whole team has been amazing. His teachers have gone above and beyond in helping him transition to daycare, and it's been very reassuring with the transition of returning to work, knowing that he is happy and gets extra cuddles and feels loved on those tough days. We love the photo updates they send on the HiMama app and the teachers are great and always take the time to talk us through how his day went when we pick him up at the end of the day. In such a short time, our son has become quite attached to all of the staff and it is great seeing his little face light up when he sees his teachers when we drop him off in the mornings. We could not be happier with our decision to have him attend this daycare! A huge thanks to all of the staff for everything that you do!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have had our daughter attending this day care for over a year and she loves it! The staff here are great and they even provide photos and videos of their daily activities for us to enjoy while we're are work.
The kids get lots of time outdoors which our daughter loves and the menus are great which means that she eats almost all the food they give her.
They also have great programs which involve bringing in guests for music, learning, and play time.
Tim and Julie love their day care and it shows. They are an awesome couple, enthusiastic owners, and give back to the local community whenever they have an opportunity. We would recommend this day care to anyone.

The staff are kind, knowledge, and clearly take great care in the services they provide. When given the choice to stay home or go to daycare, my son will often choose daycare!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughters (2 & 4) started here about a month and a half ago and I’m sooo happy with our new daycare. My 4 year old struggles with anxiety and new situations are hard for her. Her teacher is amazing at helping her to handle her emotions and is very comforting when she has hard days.
Great activities, lots of outdoor time, daily pictures and updates, and the providers really get to know your children individually. My girls LOVE going here and I can’t say enough positive things about them. Highly recommend!!
