Credit or debit only Person who appeared to be in charge tried to say systems were down? If that was the case how could card payments be taken My guess is she had counted cash early and did not want to have to redo. In general Ace is ok this location needs work on customer service and in particular this staff member needs to be trained properly. Or at least be taught to lie better Fyi I have worked in the customer service industry for 30+ years

S	Sasha Whaley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I shopped at this liquor store for the first time today and it was an awful experience. I purchased an advent calander for my husband. There were only 2 left in the store. The guy at the till seemed friendly at first, but as I left I saw that the calander had most of the days punched out, so I turned back and told the guy, then exchanged for the other one. He got angry and told me that I'd already left the store so couldn't do that (I literally just had the door open when I noticed the damage). This guy then followed me out to my car yelling at me, and when I tried to drive away he hit the back of my car with his hands. When I got home I called to speak with the manager since this is an incredibly inappropriate way to act towards a customer. He told me he is the manager and --get this--that he'd already called the police and given my lisence plate! As though I had shoplifted or something. I then had to call the police myself and tell them what happened. The constable told me that nobody from that location actually called the police and assured me that I didn't do anything illegal. They advised me to make a complaint with head office at Ace Liquor. I have never had this kind of experience in my life and would obviously advise against shopping here!
S	Scott Coffin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I come in fairly regularly, and there is one employee who I try and avoid when in the store, Grahm the old British guy. Every single time I have seen him he has made me feel like I am not welcome in the store. Accusing myself and others of theft and blanket racist statements towards people. I have even heard him talk badly about the other employees. To be honest I don't think I will be coming back anymore, there are other stores to go to.
