★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chris does great work. We have original fir floors in a very old home and he replaced the floors that could not be saved while expertly matching stain colors and having it all flow well. That cannot be done unless you are a professional at your craft. He has recently refinished the high traffic areas, once again an A+ job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chris and Mike did an excellent job repairing our original 1940's oak and fir floors. Chris has a great eye for detail. They replaced damaged boards and spliced in areas with gaps. They were pleasant to have in our home and the whole process went very smoothly. We're very happy with the time and care they took to explain the process to us, as well as to make sure the job was well done!

Chris took the time to fully explain the process as well as the limitations one needs to consider when repairing hardwood flooring. Chris is honest, direct, reliable, and meticulous in his work. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He took great care with every detail and is skilled in knowing what boards needed replacing and which ones would finish up nicely without replacement. The result is far better than I would have imagined. Hire Chris. You will be happy you did.

He was very responsive with communications and was able to start the job very quickly. Throughout the entire job he was sure to explain the process and pros and cons of different options for finishing, clearly set expectations, and checked in with me consistently throughout each day. I was very impressed with his experience, skill and professionalism and his dedication to customer service. I would recommend Excel to anyone looking to refinish their floors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had Chris and crew come to our home 9 years ago to help us with refinishing our hardwood floors. To say he did a good job is an understatement. Our floors to this day is my favourite feature of our home.Chris came up with a one off stain that impressed both my wife and I. We recently had our kitchen renovated and while appliances were being delivered damage was done to our top nosing leading into our brand new kitchen, I was devastated. Called chris and explained our situation. Sent photos and Chris agreed to come have a look. He fixed the problem in short order, and I challenge anyone to find the spot that was damaged! Thank you Chris for your excellent workmanship and customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had Chris redo the floors in one of our bedrooms, they were original to the home from 1952. They have had layers of carpet and glue for many years. Chris was able to refurbish and even replace a few damaged boards and they now look amazing.
Even more impressive was during the sanding process, there was literally no dust, that was a huge shock to use.
Chris is very responsive, and has a passion for what he does. We plan on using him again to do our master bedroom in the future.
