Great people selling the best Hi-Fi equipment in Saskatchewan. David Milo is knowledgeable, and was very kind to audition his fine Dynaudio loudspeakers to me. Highly recommended.

Posting for an audio buddy who does not have Google or FB accounts: Review by James Hiebert There is a saying - β€œNot all things are created equal” This is certainly true for higher end audio shops! I’ve been in a few and the arrogance that can reek from the owner/staff can be overwhelming. And for me personally a complete turn off. They don’t have a chance at gaining my business. When the decision was made to modernize my main system I began initially researching and deciding what I wanted….for me that was speakers first and then I went from there. No local dealers for the speakers I wanted so I began looking around Nationally and of course came across a number. I had initial contact with 3 and very quickly that became a focused conversation with 1 dealer. Neil and I began a casual email communication thread that then turned to a more focused conversation. Not having an opportunity to audition any of what I was buying my own personal research and then conversations with Neil (and a brief one with David) were my only source of confidence that I was making good choices. Neil got to know my preferences and he then was able with some assuredness to make recommendations for what might work well in my room and align with my audio needs/hopes. Neil was a consummate pro …. patient as he was dealing with a person making some pretty big changes and also buying from a distance. He was thorough and clear in his communication. I ended up purchasing speakers, an integrated amp and a phono pre. A terrific buying experience and easy transaction…..with zero arrogance! I would recommend Neil and Everest to anyone wanting to upgrade their audio system or get into audio for the first time. Thanks Very Much!

Just a brief comment to say that my experience with Neil and Everest Audio was thoroughly outstanding. He was helpful, knowlegable, honest and patient, and his follow up communications and professionalism are simply the best I've ever experienced in this field. I trust his advice and return for future equipment, and I recommend him to others, without any reservations.

From out of province, I've been dealing with Neil at Everest Audio for some time now. Have purchase a Hegel Amp, Music Hall turntable, Thorens turntable and a Vertere Phono 1 preamp. Having owned a retail business myself, I understand that good prices are something you can get anywhere, but the real test of a business relationship comes after the sale, when service is required. I recently had an issue with a piece of equipment purchased from Neil. The level of service I received has been above and beyond anything expected, or quite frankly, necessary from the perspective of the business owner. When I questioned why they were going so far to resolve my problem, Neil simply said "we do whatever is required to help the customer". From advice, to sales to service, I can't recommend Neil enough. Great company, great experience.

I first heard about Neil and Dave, and Everest Audio 10 months ago, from a fellow reviewer here. I was always of the opinion, as a lot of audio enthusiasts are, that you don't buy an audio component without auditioning it first. Or at the very least hearing it with components similar to yours. Recently I started to get curious about adding an external DAC, and my fellow reviewer put me in touch with Neil and Dave. Neil asked about my set up, what I liked about it, and what I was looking to improve. He knew a lot about the amplifiers I was using. And was also knowledgeable about my brand of speakers. He said that a different amplifier would probably bring out more from my speakers. That was all I needed to hear. Lol. He suggested the Bel Canto c6i. Which is a brand new product from Bel Canto. Which means there is little to no information available on line. Which means I couldn't research the heck out of it obsessively for weeks. And worst of all, no user reviews. I went to Regina for business 2 days later, and visited Neil and Dave. Had an amazing hour talking audio and listening to vinyl that I picked out. I was like a kid in a candy store. Took the Bel Canto home with me. Bought some nice cables as well. Neil and Dave told me that it would take at least 100 hours to settle in and open up. That must have gone in one ear and out the other, because when I set it up, I didn't like the sound at all. I called Neil pretty quickly. He talked me off the ledge, and asked me to be patient. 4 or 5 days later, the magic happened. Everything that Neil and Dave told me about what to expect from the Bel Canto, came to be. It's difficult taking a leap of faith when buying higher end gear without hearing it. I had to implicitly trust people I had just met. Who live in a different province from me. Turns out the leap was more of a small step.. When people say they have 25 years experience in the audio business, it means they know what they are talking about, it means they carry brands that they know their clients will be happy with, and it means they know how to nurture long term client relationships. For an audio enthusiast, that is the trifecta. Oh yeah, I recommend these guys. ?
