β β β β β while visiting Ottawa we came upon Escape store; this was our worst experience in all the fashion stores we visited so far, rude welcome, mask requirement harrasement (though for 2 months masks not longer requiered), rude staff; we walked out very quickly ending up in a much more welcoming stores; so NO for us Escape is definitely NOT a store to go to

β β β β β It's been almost 2 months since the mask mandates have been lifted in Ontario and this store is not only posting a request in the door for patrons to wear a mask but they also harass clients as they walk in if they don't have one. This is absolutely ridiculous. It is clear that Escape has a complete disregard for provincial health recommendations and city by-laws. The lady was also rude to me when I expressed my discontent about her oppressive expectations. I will never walk into this store again. I do not support this kind of discrimination.
