"I've been taking my pets to Dr. Jones for years, and I couldn't be happier.  She cares so much about her patients and that rubs off on everyone at the clinic.  I recommend her to everyone I know, and I would never trust anyone else with my pets care!"

A few months ago I brought my 5 month old puppy in to erindale animal hospital for an X-ray. They kept him for nearly 11 hours to do a simple X-ray, despite me calling several times. Each time I called I was placed on hold. I finally was told my pup was ready to be picked up just after 6pm and was informed that he had not been fed a meal during his stay. The clinic then charged me for a hospitalization day. The vet student advised me that my dog would need surgery and there was nothing more they could do. I went to another vet to get a second opinion. They did a new X-ray within 20 minutes, charged me a fraction of the price erindale did, and told me my pup had a soft tissue injury that did not require surgery. My dog has fully healed and did not need surgery. EAH is far too expensive for the quality of care they provide to our pets.

This review is long overdue. We can't say enough great things about the entire staff and Dr Vivienne Jones. Mid October our boxer Max became sick & barely hanging on to life. We had never been to Erindale Vet before but it was the only hospital willing and open to accept him so we rushed him there. Once we got him there 3 staff members rushed out to the car to carry him in and straight on a IV, he barely had a pulse. The Dr & her incredible assistants did such an amazing job & our boy is doing well now. But it didn't end there! The staff have continued to call & check on him & he had a check-up yesterday and again had a wonderful experience and care by Dr Jone & staff. Thanks so much!

Daughter's dog went in to get neutered in November. Vet said they needed to do a scope before the surgery. Ended up paying over $600 more for all the tests. His trachea was damaged from the scope (confirmed by different animal hospital) so now has breathing problem. Never had a problem before this. When she took him back to vet they said he had kennel cough and rushed him into quarantine. He had been nowhere other than home so the vet said it can be transferred from humans if their dog has it. She had no visitors. Even though they thought it was kennel cough, my daughter was in the waiting room for a couple of hours and they didn't disinfect the waiting area. He also came home from the surgery with a cut on his paw that became infected. It took 2.5 months worth of antibiotics to heal and 4 visits to animal hospital to look after it (obviously a different one). The neutering cost over $1200.00 and another $500 for antibiotics. Now she will be looking at surgery for his damaged trachea. Please do your research and read reviews when choosing a vet, we wish we had.

Not very happy, not very professional in my opinion. My mom Made an appointment to have the dog put to sleep, so they should have known…yet the girl started asking questions like is the dog eating well etc…then the vet comes in and starts talking about grooming etc….it’s like they had no clue what they were there for???? Made mom second guess her decision …it wasn’t till my niece said β€œyou know we are here to put her down right” to the vet, that they clued in! what a horrible way to make a person feel when it’s already a tough day….do better, show some compassion or at least know what people are coming in for!

We recently took our 13 year old dog Lily to Erindale Animal Hospital for an assessment as she had some concerning symptoms. The staff were all so kind and caring, and Dr Jones was extremely professional and compassionate in her interactions. I did express some concerns to them around some lack of communication issues that were frustrating and difficult to deal with as a stressed and emotional dog parent, however the feedback was well received in a very professional manner and it improved greatly after my feedback. Lily was there for 4 days, and came home with a good prognosis and the hope that she would continue to recover. Unfortunately this wasn't the case and we had to say goodbye to our sweet Lily yesterday. The experience, while the most difficult thing I've done, was so compassionate, peaceful and gentle for both my partner and I and our children. Dr Jones is just the best, and she helped to really make the whole experience calm and peaceful. Her whole entire vibe is just so nice, and she is a lovely and beautiful human being who so obviously cares deeply about her furry little patients. Thank you Dr Jones + staff for loving our little Lily like we do it and helping to soften a traumatic experience for all of us.

Please don't go to this clinic! Non professional and rude personal. My puppy and me were there 3 hours, paid $600 for nothing. Feels like they kept my girl there just to get more money! A week past I still don't know what the problem was with my puppy. We did all tests they said and I trusted to them...but I think I help my dog more than professional from Arindale vet clinic. She is fine now and I won't go to this clinic any more!

Took my dog here a while ago and had to switch. It always seemed like they were trying to sell me on stuff and get the most possible money off of me. Example: prescribed my dog the monthly tick medication over the summer when there’s a cheaper 3 month option (according to my friend who is a vet tech) My dog also got kennel cough when we brought him here. It was at the beginning of covid so when I brought him in we left him there during the day while he got checked out. Unfortunately it seems like they did not sanitize things properly, or did not have a system in place to efficiently keep possibly sick dogs away from others. After this incident I could not bring my dog back here and switched to another vet, where he has never gotten kennel cough and they never try to sell me on anything.

Extremely impressed with every aspect of my experience. Staff was kind and professional, and were so great with my senior cat. Communication regarding treatment options and pricing was clear, and honestly really reasonable. I had to leave my cat for treatment during the day, and was thrilled to receive a text update, including a picture, reassuring me that everything was going smoothly, and communicating next steps. The technician that handled the discharge of my cat was extremely thorough, walked me through everything, and clearly cared very much. Can’t thank you all enough!
