Set up to purchase a new water heater. Incomplete installation done within two days. Bonding strap not reattached, no tag on gas line with installers name or date of install. Now first bill and its marked as a rental. Never agreed to rental, even called them after receiving emails after the installation to say purchase not rental. Update: Problems have been fixed, next bill will tell.

Antonio (Tony) returned to unclog our toilet today. He was punctual, professional and extremely patient. He didn't complain once but rather, took the time to go through possible solutions for future clogs. After ensuring the toilet was NOT actually clogged, he thoroughly explained the different types of toilets available and the differences between the various types. Definitely deserving of 5 stars, Tony provided excellent service! He was a pleasure to have in our home.

No hot water Sun, called and got appointment Mon. Technician β€œfixed” hot water problem and diagnosed plumbing problem, which I disagreed with. Still no hot water after tech left- called and asked for a second opinion. Got appointment Tues with another technician, Gerald. Gerald diagnosed sensor issues and ordered parts; also said low flow in basement sink only. Gerald advised he needed to be the one to replace the parts which were ordered. Thought hot might be available but couldn’t promise… no hot water. Parts arrived Friday afternoon - to have Gerald come back to do the work, I had to wait until Monday. No hot water for eight days. Monday, Gerald worked very hard to find a solution. Needed others parts but after he left - I still had hot water! Gerald was determined not to leave me without hot water and found a way to bypass problem and with fix it permanently when additional parts are available. I would highly recommend this technician and hope to see him again, soon.

We are renting a water tank from Enercare, and we use their services for repairs for heater and for AC when needed. when they ask you on the phone if 'the technician can recommend a product on their visit' they will recommend things as always. Our airconditioner is over 10 years old, and have been repaired twice in the last 2 years due to leaks and lack of coolan. so the technician advised we should take advantage and bundle products with enercare as it would make things cheaper. also, the additional promo of not paying for 1 year seems nice. so we accepted the offer and the AC was delivered and installed the next day. 1st red flag : we asked many times during part of sale, that it would be enercare coming to deliver and install the AC, but on that day it was 'in-home climate control expert' that came with just a magnetized sticker of 'enercare authorized contractor' on the side. 2nd redflag: we asked many times why they did not want to change the condenser coil considering the old issue and selling point discussed the day before was everything will be changed to avoid leaks. after a few discussions , they accepted to change it. 3rd redflag, after a week or so , the AC makes loud noises, shakes to the point that it even moves from its base . I reported many times and now Enercare took 5 days for a technician to come. The biggest issue : so the NEW AC is not even 2 months old, yet they will only replace the 'compressor' which the technician pointed out. and it will take over a week. me and my parent's can not understand and requested to escalate it , and the technician gave us a number of their field manager that can not be reached . update : 2022.. nothing happened even after email was sent to the ombudsman. sales agent can not be reached after contract was signed. the same sales agent that promised its enercare team that will install aircondition. not a subcontracted agent

David Koles came over today, and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I have a tricky plumbing situation but David found a way to resolve it efficiently and cost effectively. He explained the cause of the issue and the steps he was going to take to resolve it. He saved me a great deal of cash with his plan of attack. I’m extremely happy with David’s service and know how. I would definitely recommend David and Enercare to take care of your plumbing issues. Great job David!

The person taking my phone call to request a technician to come to see why our thermostat was registering LO was very patient and helpful and was able to give us a same day window between 7 pm and 11:00 pm. The young technician came at 8 pm and was kind and welcomed us with a very warm HELLO when he arrived. He immediately put on his overshoe slippers and went right to work. He was thorough and very careful to make sure our furnace was working well and the thermostat too. He departed with the same warm manner in his voice when he said Goodbye.

We've been a client of Enercare for some time now we have the furnace protection plan for several years have been doing furnace maintenance every year. We stopped the furnace maintenance during the peak of the pandemic and they started calling us to resume service, which they never did before. When we finally booked for maintenance the tech told us we can no longer use the furnace as there's a leak in the core which is not covered by the plan and we had to replace it (at the time the furnace was working perfectly fine if they didn't tell us). The sales guy came and tried to sell us a package of furnace and AC but our AC was only several years old so we opted for furnace only. The sales guy told us that the techs will install a brand new furnace and drill a hole to get fresh air from outside rather than use indoor air and they will provide us with a new thermostat, but we can keep using our existing nest if we wanted. When the techs came to install they tried to talk us out of drilling a hole and did not provide us with a thermostat since we wanted to keep the nest. One of the techs removed our nest to inspect the wiring behind it and then left shortly after. 1.5 Month later when it got really hot we tried to turn on our AC our nest reported that wiring changes are required in order to control the equipment. We were so frustrated. We asked around and were told that since we changed from single stage to 2 stage furnace there's additional wiring required in order for AC to work properly. Why did the tech look at our wiring and not say anything and just leave? This is totally unacceptable. Now that we think back the whole furnace replacement seems sketchy too.
