β β β β β I have just recently started going to Empower Health and so far I am impressed. Joshua (RMT) really went above and beyond, by not only alleviating my neck Nerve Pain, he also taught me a lot! Sheryl Watson (Holistic Pelvic Care, and Arvigo Therapy) has been amazing. I never knew how important this kind of work is. I highly recommend looking into it!

β β β β β I found perfect place for massage, acupuncture and abdominal therapy. Very educated and experienced therapist. I was scared from needles and Acupuncture Therpy but Dr. Kelly is very experience and treated me very well. I feel wonderful..Thank you Empower for providing your best service to public. I love you all. β€

β β β β β Iβm very specific about how I like my massages and Josh stuns me every time. Iβve seen many massage therapists and I am always left feeling unsatisfied, this is not the case with josh. He is born to be an RMT.

β β β β β I had excellent prenatal massages with Tricia Lovegrove. She was very knowledgeable about prenatal massages. She ensured that she addressed my specific concerns as well as common ailments during pregnancy. She was also very careful of avoiding certain pressure points that could trigger contractions.
Tricia mostly used lighter pressure for me which was appropriate given the late stage of my pregnancy (38 & 39 weeks when I saw her), but I could sense that she would be great with deep pressure massages if that's what you're looking for.
Overall, Tricia is a very skilled massage therapist with great bedside manners. I only wish I had started seeing her earlier in my pregnancy. It was also an added bonus that my midwife shares the office with Empower Health so it was very convenient to have both appointments taken care of in one trip.

β β β β β 4 stars for Trish the RMT but the holistic area is Unethical. I cannot recommend an unethical business. The location is great but the practise of billing time and up selling is horrendous. Not upfront with the billing but they think WHO cares, their insurance is paying for it. So most of the time I will get away with this. I would like to see this business change its way of thinking and caring for people and a HOLISTIC thinking for ALL; not just for the "BUSINESS" itself.
You can see the whole set up from the walls, the shelves and right down to the people that work there, it is all to SELL YOU. Make you think and feel a certain PRESSURE. Words that are used for your listening is also to SELL YOU. It's like the late night infomercials. They can sell you by giving you snake oil or sell you by scaring you. Or sell you because they make you fell like a heel (cheapskate) if you don't. All these little thoughts are placed in your head a bit at a time until the PUNCHLINE. Now ... will you or won't you? Why NOT? Those are the thoughts to try to sell you.
I DO NOT AND CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE THAT DOES NOT PRACTISE GOOD ETHICS.

β β β β β Iβve been going to this clinic for massage therapy with Josh for a few months now. I was a little hesitant at first because Iβve never had a male therapist before. But the minute I met Josh I felt his profesional approach and made me feel very comfortable, he loves feedback from his patients and that makes for a great experience during the visit. I donβt see myself going anywhere else, love Empower Health Clinic!

β β β β β I have been receiving massage service from Josh for almost 3 years now, and I was never disappointed. I am a professional dancer who struggle with injuries, he saved my shoulders and back so many times! Josh is a real professional who definitely knows what he does.

β β β β β I found the most amazing counsellor at Empower Health. Her name is Melissa Turner. Melissa listens to where you are and what is causing you concern or anxiety and with her astute awareness of what is needed in the moment, she is like a magician in helping to make sense of lifes complexities. I have had three sessions with her and she is worth every penny for how impactful the outcomes have been during my work with her. If you are looking for a skilled counsellor who is compassionate, caring and provides a safe atmosphere to do your "work"...look no further! Melissa Turner is amazing!
