★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has a NY vibe roti shop feel. Roti is top notch. I love a good Dhal puri. I'm not sure of the owner but I've seen some people that truly care about what they are doing . There is a little wait for your food so I recommend you call in advance pick-up and go. Average wait time for a good meal is 20 to 30 min. Being from Trinidad I like to support black entrepreneurs and this shop gets my vote. Don't be shy to ask for a little extra

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly this is the best Caribbean food I’ve had since I moved to Vancouver from Toronto a decade ago. The flavour and the portions are perfect. I got the ox tail an not only is it the best I’ve had in Vancouver but it’s some of the best I’ve ever had. If you hungry you gotta visit this spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally a good roti shop in Vancouver. Paratha (buss up shot) was buttery, light and perfectly flakey. Proper Trini roti. Goat was chef's kiss. Channa was mild for personal taste but easily solved adding one's own pepper. Aloo pie and pholourie were great. The house tamarind sauce GREAT. They were out of doubles when I went, but of course will be heading back multiple times.
Update: went back for doubles and they are legit authentic *slow clap*. The bara was so light and fluffy (a thing I can't even manage in my own kitchen). The channa again was a bit mild in flavour, maybe needed a pepper kick (so give ppl options for toppings?) But loved the tamarind drizzle. Look forward to maybe in future getting some cucumber chow option for toppings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The picture of the doubles would not reflect how good they are. The dough is super soft and the chickpeas melt in your mouth; super flavourful. Real authentic food and the lady at the cashier is super friendly. I look forward to going there again and trying more stuffs from their menu. I also tried their beef curry with dhal puri and it slaps

First time having Trinidad food and if this is an example of it, I am moving to Trinidad! ??
The staff was extremely helpful over the phone when I was trying to decide what to get for a group and was patiently explaining the items. When I came to pick up, the staff was again extremely friendly.
The food was delicious! The Goat and the Veg were both very flavorful and well cooked. Give this place a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Born and raised in Trinidad here and this is the real deal! Their dhalpuri roti is perfectly seasoned and soft, but strong enough to hold all the curry! Their oxtail was also fall off the bone tender and ridiculously flavourful. One of the few places in this city to get authentic doubles
