T	THobbes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The oxtail is really good. I literally drive 25km for their oxtail irrespective of the 3-4 other caribbean restaurants that I drive pass along the way. Yes, it's that good!

Me and my partner both got the chicken roti as well as some pholourie. The pholourie was alright for it's price. The chicken roti however was extremely poorly made. Nearly everything about the main dish was wrong in some form. First the chicken was lacking any form of seasoning and did not seem marinated at all and was extremely bland. The potatoes were undercooked and the curry was far too runny. The roti skin was a disappointment as well and tasted oddly sweet. Nearly everything about the roti was disappointing and I don't like to waste food but this dish was impossible for me to finish. I will not be coming back.

The food was warm and the roti skin was sweet, which sadly is all I can give it. The curry itself was running and almost watery. Even the potatoes weren’t cooked all the way. The chicken was pink and you can tell wasnt marinated. I don’t think I’ve even been to a Caribbean place that doesn’t marinate their chicken over night. The food was ready fairly quick, I just wish they took some more time to actually cook it properly.

Not bad flavor, not great, not better than good home cooked food, but tastes like that one aunty that cooks healthy and doesn't want to chunkay the dahl but you'd eat it with a smile so they don't feel ways..... The curry flavor was very mild, almost as if they're short on seasoning. The goat was boneless in case you're wondering, not that I minded, I actually prefer it. The phlouri was a standard chain restaurant floury phlouri with an average somewhat runny tambrin sour with it. The doubles were unbearably awful and was discarded. Lacks taste or season or flavor or spice to the chickpeas, and the bake itself was slightly below expectations. There was definitely no sauce or additional sour or pepper sauce added to the doubles, it was very dry.

The chicken falls of the bone. I will give it a second try soon. This time I will try a roti instead. Follow me in my review for my next comment on this place.

I ordered the jerk chicken roti & my husband ordered the shrimp roti & curry chicken. A nice woman answered the door as we followed covid protocols we placed our order & she said it would be 20 mins, no problem as we waited in the car. 20 mins came my husband went in to get the order & we drove home to eat. I opened my eyes and was like “woah, this is huge”. I cut my roti in half and omg it was delicious, tender pieces of jerk chicken & potatoes inside I was in love. My husband loved his choices as well. We both couldn’t believe that this place has been here 32 years & I’m finding out about it now, thanks hubby, ? The second time I ordered was through Skip The Dishes & Again they didn’t disappoint me. I ordered 3 jerk chicken roti’s and again moist pieces of jerk chicken & potatoes my taste buds were in Heaven, once again. I highly recommend this place to ANY who has NOT tried a roti before or has. It’s a delicious place. I’ll be back 100% Keep Up The Great Service & Food ?
