Beautiful spot for a day trip. Well maintained grounds, plenty of space for launching canoes, kayaks, and boats, rentals and store onsite. There's also a great marsh trail and two beaches to choose from.

Beautiful park on the banks of the Pigeon River in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes region. Close enough to Peterborough to get anything you need or for a day trip. Lots of cycling opportunities too!

Love it overall. Was not overly impressed with the site as it had no grass and was muddy. Not the park's fault it rained, but it would've been nice to have a bit of built up gravel or something to resemble parking, as after a heavy rain, our vehicle got stuck. Overall though we love being outside and it was a great weekend

Nice provincial park, close to Peterborough, Omeemee and Bridgenorth. The park looses a star as the boardwalk trail has been closed off due to collapsed sections for years, blocking off the best part of the trail, the island and the small lookout tower. (Unless you're brave enough to cross the small logs in the swamp, bring your rain booties!) Beaches are nice and big, but are full of weeds almost up to the shore. Campgrounds are decent condition, but are little close together and many offer little privacy. With prices charged for camping and day use, there's no excuse for the boardwalk being not being repaired/replaced. But now with lumber the price it is, it will be a long time yet before it is.

Really nice campground and not overly crowded. Some of the camping spots are not overly private and could be a downfall. Site 40 & 57 were great sites to stay on with a group since they backed onto each other. The site attached to 40 (39?) was very close and offered no privacy between the two so much so that you cannot tell where one ends and the other begins. Also a nice little creek runs beside 57. Dog beach is not great as you cannot sit there for the day and swim like you can at other parks. You can take them to the regular beach and sit up top not on the beach which is well shaded.

Great family camping. The park and facilities are kept very clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Camping sites are a great size. Will definitely go back.

Good campground. Unique layout of Circle Campground. Showers and Rentals closed due to COVID-19. Park Store closed Mon-Tue. Beach, Hiking Tail (Marsh Trail), Amphitheater, kid’s playground to explore. Nearby Omemee community to buy essentials...

We really enjoyed the last site and set up of this park. We were close to the park and main showers and washroom was easily accessible from campsite. We enjoy way too much ice cream from the park store. Only a few dollars for a very large kiddie cone. They lend out discovery kits for the kids which included net, bucket, magnifying glass and a sheet of things to hunt for. Beach was nice, small and usually crowded but kids had a blast. Lots of docks to fish off of but lake was very shallow when we were there.
