Visiting the towns and going through the locks was interesting and enjoyable. Just beware of using these boats if it is windy day, they are tricky to maneuver in heavy winds.

Loved the waterways and would do it again. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Answered all our amateur questions and make us feel at ease. Can't wait to book again next year! Mission accomplished. Kristen, Steve, and Leo were patient and fair with what happened and that says a lot. Lockmasters were great too.
M	Mathew Macleod on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn't believe they give you the keys to a big house boat! We had a 32' and a 40' boat. I would recommend the 40' for a family of 5 or more. The 32' can accommodate but it gets tight at times.

The staff were very helpful with first aid, ice, towels, etc. They then kept in touch through the night while we were at the hospital and made sure we knew how to get to our boat when we got back. Thank you again Egan House. Much appreciated.
C	Cara R-N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honest 3. Beautiful sunsets on Kawartha's but seriously the breakdowns from "wet cap" for a houseboat on water is ridiculous. Best to know beforehand to avoid panic when floating without power towards a dam and the anchor won't snag. No repeat for me.
