She was able to keep the attention of the girls (age 5 to 12) and was very knowledgeable. Even though it rained the whole time, the hike was worth it. Definitely remember to wear rubber boots. The view from the dock is beyond words. I love how there is lots of educational plagues, that you can go on your own and still learn. I am already planning our next outing there. The staff are very accommodating and offer alot of educational sessions.
S	Sean Nordstrom on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They had KawarthaNow publish info on an event, cancelled it, and then did not notify KawarthaNow, resulting in several people driving to the middle of Lindsay for no reason at all. This is lazy and incompetent planning. I would advise not attending any events without calling them and explicitly confirming. The staff was also incredibly callous regarding their error the disruptive effect that driving for 45 minutes with kids for no reason can have.
K	K Howard-Kowalchuk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's obvious a lot of hard work has gone into this place. We came for hiking in the winter and the late spring and both times had a wonderful time. Good trails and lots of trees. Pretty lookout at the lake with a small dock. Definitely worth a visit!
