Ellerslie 66 Dental Clinic - Edmonton

Very clean office. Dr. Li was pleasant, got me in speedy. Unfortunately she wasn't able to do my extractions as they are more complicated. But the exam was calm and she was able to get x-rays to me quickly.

My overall experiences over there wasn't really good. Didn't really listen to my concerns and kept saying it's nothing or it will heal naturally. I had my teeth pulled, trusting them, hoping everything will be okay. However, after few weeks, the place where they pulled my tooth still hurt, blood won't stop bleeding. Went to see them many times but all their answer was "don't worry it will heal naturally". And YET it did not. I needed to find another dentist and have them check on that tooth. They was still few left over tooth inside my mouth that they pulled. They did not clean it well, which cause my healing very slow and never healed properly. Furthermore, they misjudged on my teeth, telling me can't do anything else and need to pull another tooth off. Having that 1st experience I denied and went to another dentist. Now the teeth that they used to told me to pulled is saved. If I, again, and listen to them. I'm afraid I'll go through those 2 months pain again. To conclude, with feeling of hoping my problems would be solved but they ignored, turned away from my opinion, told me there's nothing else to do but to pull the "broken tooth" was shocked for me how they deal with customer. Never go there again.

Amazing service. I was having trouble reaching out to my old dentist and needed to get work done, so i tried here on recommendation from a friend. The staff are amazing. Dr. Li is a great dentist who really cares about her patients, and the hygienists are so helpful and kind, and really take time to make sure you understand what they're doing, and do a good job on your teeth. The front desk staff are really helpful too in answering all questions and always return my calls promptly. I even got my grandma to go here as she was having teeth trouble, and I knew she would be in the best care here, and she was very happy with her treatment. I am about to start my invisalign treatment here too, and I love that they direct bill to insurance and let you know what to expect before hitting you with a surprise bill like some other dentists I've tried. I feel like I have finally found a dentist for good. Thank you Dr.Li and the rest of the amazing staff at Ellerslie 66 Dental Clinic! I actually dont dread going to the dentist anymore (for reference, I've gone here for cleanings, fillings, wisdom tooth extraction, and now Invisalign treatment)

I went to Ellerslie 66 dental clinic and the doctor who was present there said that she could not do a filling to my tooth and she said the only option was root canal and gave me a big quotation . Even tho i requested for an extraction. The only reason I went there was because my Dental clinic was closed. I went back to my dentist and he was able to do it . I am warning people please do not go here and spend all your money because the doctors and the staff give you wrong advise . It is not correct for the Dental clinic to give incorrect information to patients when there is a better and a cheaper option out there. Not in a million years will i go here

Very nice experience for my visit. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The environment is clean and also kids friendly, waiting hour is short. Dr.Li is very professional, she addressed all my concerns, thoughtfully answered my questions, weren't pushy, took my comfort as a priority, and made recommendations for natural dentist recommended products. Highly recommended

Very nice and professional staff. Awesome technology and equipment. I'm very pleased with the dental work done for my 4 years old son. It was made one year ago and the work is solid. Both my wife and I myself have been using the service. I would like to give the clinic 5 stars as they deserve it.

I've been meaning to do this review months ago. I applaud this place for their wonderful Staff and exceptional service. Quick, painless, very clean, and was comfortable throughout my whole visit. They do direct billing and they also follow the alberta dental guide for pricing. I'm more than thrilled to have found a dentist I like and will be sticking with them as long as they are around. Keep up the amazing and wonderful work!

As a retired professor at University of Alberta, I always pay certain attention to academic background for our professional service providers. Our family dentist Dr. Yuping Li got her B.Sc in computer science from University of Science and Technology of China, the best university in China, M.Sc in computer science from Harvard University, Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Alberta. We received Dr. Li's service for several years, then changed to another dental clinic, because Dr. Li's clinic is far away from our home. Unfortunately, the new dentist provided very poor service. In April 2021, Strathcona Orthodontics told us that my son Benjamin needed to take 3 teeth out, 1 tooth (#29) was hard to remove, had to be taken by specialty dental surgery. Other 2 teeth (#53 and #63) can be removed by our family dentist. However, that dentist can't remove these two regular teeth. He didn't contacted me, but sent 3 teeth remove to a dental surgery speciality facility, total cost is $2741, in which charges for #53 and #63 were $1360! I planned to remove #53 and #63 during school spring break. That bad dentist is not only very poor in skill, but also unresponsive, wasted our 3 week time! I had to bring Benjamin back to Dr. Li. I felt embarrassed, but Dr. Li acted as usual. She immediately examed Benjamin, removed #53 and #63 teeth in less than 15 minutes. Total costs was $140.21x2=$280.42. Our dental plan provides $1250 per person per year, but does not cover Benjamin's orthodontics. On March 18, after Benjamin's tooth examinations and treatment finished, I asked Dr. Li to provide more treatment for Benjamin. Dr. Li said she checked all teeth and filled one tooth for Benjamin and so far there is no need for Benjamin to take any treatment. Under my continuous request, Dr. Li agreed, not treatment but an checking in September 2021. My schedule is very tight, and didn't take any dental services for several years. Dr. Li tried her best to serve me. On March 14 at 2pm, Dr. Li checked and filled 3 teeth. On March 17, 9-10:15 am, she cleaned my teeth. On March 18 at 2:45 pm, Dr. Li filled 7 teeth in one hour. So fast and without feeling any pain! In my 32 years in Edmonton, 6 dentists served my family. Dr. Li has excellent skills and maintains the highest professional standard, she is the best dentist!!!
