C	Carrie Ross on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a small nature park close to the city of Lethbridge, Elizabeth Hall Wetlands is a great urban outdoor adventure that doesn't take a long drive to get there. Lovely nature spot famous for its painted turtles. Pathways are well defined.
C	Charlie Myles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Elizabeth Hall Wetlands is a convenient location to get away from the city above the river valley. There is a parking on the South side of Highway 3, near the Par 3 golf course. The park has a red shall path that circles an oxbow lake that was created when a berm was constructed along the East edge of the park. There is a paved portion of the path leading from the parking lot to the North end of the lake. There is a bird blind at the end of a short trail in the SE corner of the lake. As well, there is a floating dock on the NE edge of the lake, a short distance form the parking lot. A variety of birds and animals can be seen. Interpretive signs along the trail help with identification and trivia. The path around the lake is about 1.6 km (1 mile) around. For those who want to travel further, a trail continues South under the High Level bridge into Bull Trail Park. Note: There are no washrooms or facilities at this park. Since this is a nature reserve, no dogs or bikes are permitted.

N	Nick Sullivan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely at all themes of the year! Lots of wilderness and wildlife to see (bald eagle and beaver today!). Don’t bring your dogs, as they are not permitted in the nature reserve, and bikes only on the paved/shale pathways to protect the area and wildlife.
K	Ken Murphy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great place to have in your back yard. And it's free. Go for a hike. Visit the hundreds of painted turtles and enjoy the wildlife. Great getaway during these crazy times. Easy hikes and lots to see.
S	Suzy MacDonald on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to go for a walk and see tons of wildlife: from hissing geese to hopping frogs, porcupines up in trees and the occasional Great Blue Heron stalking the cattails in search of food. You can explore on a floating pad and look in and see some tadpoles or neat insects, maybe some snakes or fish! There is a giant loop you can take on the gravel path or explore down in the trees on a dirt path and spy some downy woodpeckers, Northern flickers, nuthatches, and deers. There is also a path that goes out towards Old Man River and you may come upon some muskrat or beavers, and pelicans that come up for a visit when it's warm. There used to be a bird watching enclosure but unfortunately it burned down but you can still experience and see a large variety of wildlife. If you haven't, go take a walk and explore the area. I'm sure there is something there for everyone. However, there is not a ton of benches or places to sit and relax and the garbage are quite sparse too!

A	Austin Froese on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely suberb place to watch and photograph wildlife. Pretty well guarantee to see plenty of wildlife evey time you visit. Also a beautiful place to just go for a walk. If you enjoy nature and wildlife this is most definitely the place for you.
