Authentic Ingredients …… both near and far

For all of our Tasting Menus, we have sourced many of our ingredients directly from the country we are featuring, such as Italy, Mexico, Thailand, and France. From San Marzano Tomatoes, Traditional Balsamic Vinegars, Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese, a variety of dried chilis, Jicama, and Red Snapper to Plantain, Black Tiger Shrimp, Tamarind, Shrimp Paste, to Escargot, Olive Oils, and Fregola Pasta.

For many of the others, we strive to use fresh and local, as well as produce many of our ingredients in-house from scratch, including Fresh Egg Pastas, Mascarpone Cheese, Tuscan Bread, Homemade Butters, traditional Mole Sauces, Cajeta, a variety of Hot Sauces, Handmade Tortillas, Puff Pastry, and a variety of French Stocks, Demi-Glace, Glazes, and French Mother Sauces, such as Espagnole.

The atmosphere is very pleasant, the restaurant is nicely decorated. The menu has, besides the burgers, many more nice options. And since the restaurant has a good chef, the meals are very well prepared. All in all a very nice restaurant.

But the experience comes from the impeccable service, warm atmosphere and all the extras. Be sure to take advantage of the excellent beverage selection - we enjoyed everything from the Crodino aperitif, to San Peligrino sparking water, to Highland Park 12 scotch (from the impressive Scotch table), 10 year old Tawny Port with the cheese course and cappuccino with desert. All beautifully presented and at reasonable prices. What a treat! We will be back.

Our servers were fantastic, very knowledgeable about the various prepared foods we enjoyed. The atmosphere was simple, and plain, but pleasing. The table setting was amazing. And the food, and drinks, incredible. Although it is just over a 2 hour jaunt from Regina, I would guarantee anyone wanting to impress someone with a great experience, it is worth the drive. We personally are very much looking forward to returning and eating there again.
