A simple rule in a complicated world…
We want The Owl to be a place for everyone. We have one simple rule: Owl be nice. What does that mean? It's as simple as it should be in everyday life, be kind and respectful to each other. Appreciate each other's differences.
That is what "art" is all about, expression of oneself and the sharing of that expression. You may be surprised to find out what you learn when you are open to that idea. That is what this place is all about, encouraging people to do these things comfortably.
"Comfortably" is also a keyword. We want our guests to be comfortable. Simply put, don't be a creep. Know personal boundaries. And if someone isn't respecting yours, let our staff know.
If you "get" these ideas and want to be a part of something like this, there is plenty of room at our tables. If you don't, then... well... this is awkward... See you never? Still, we are here if you decide to change your mind. You wouldn't be the first or the last.
Alright, enough hippy stuff already maaaaaaaaannn!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a Saturday brunch. Lovely day and the doors were wide open allowing the fresh air in. Not quite warm enough to sit outside so we choose a table inside. Waitress very pleasant which is the only reason this is not a one star review. She was great. Food was fine. However….the band came in and set up and was super loud both in setting up and with their sound checks and then practicing over and over and LOUD. I have no issues with bands practicing. But close your restaurant. We could not visit or focus on anything but the noise. No warning no signage or anything to advise us that it would not be a nice social lunch cuz the band would be practicing. For an hour. Then they were doing other things but yelling across the room back and forth …..Again like the place was closed which it WASN’T. We all made a mental note to not go back. If you are looking for a Saturday lunch or brunch place I would suggest somewhere else.
Also if you are going to offer brunch maybe have the makings for mimosas cuz those go hand in hand with brunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a good place to chill. Went here with family. We brought a couple of board games to play after dinner and they were fine with it. The food was great, i love how "crass" the menu item descriptions are. Service was great too! Will definitely come back for food and entertainment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all the atmosphere is super cool, good live music. Staff are all super friendly. The burgers were so good, but what really SOLD it was that White chocolate brownie. We will 100% be back. Hopefully for like a comedy night or open mic night!
