★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Alberta Picnic Shelter, in Indian Battle Park, is a first-come first-serve picnic shelter. There is a parking lot about 50 m North of the shelter. The shelter has a roof and is enclosed on one end, and has 5 or 6 picnic tables. There is a fire pit outside the shelter with a plank bench on a paving-stone pad.
The closest bathroom is to the West, but it is only open seasonally. To the East is a washroom near the Baroness shelter that is normally open.
There is a playground to the East. There are also lots of paved and red-shale paths to explore.
