We were set up with tools to manage the move-out process, and Eileen handled further negotiations to help us move the closing date. We met Eileen in May 2020 when we visited a property that she had listed for a client. While the property did not ultimately interest us, we were impressed by Eileen’s guidance during our visit. Thus we asked her to work with us to find a house in the crazy Toronto real estate market. Over the next 1.5 years, Eileen demonstrated unparalleled knowledge of the Toronto real estate market, extreme patience with us as demanding and picky buyers, and attentiveness to our comments as we explored the market together. By listening to us, she helped us to figure out which factors in our search were actually important to us. She encouraged patience on our part when it became clear that we were not certain what we wanted (or where we wanted to live) — she didn’t want us to jump into a purchase. We finally found a wonderful house in the summer of 2021 in an area of the city that was not one we had originally considered (due to lack of knowledge). After that, Eileen helped us to sell our condo in downtown Toronto. A few years ago we had invested significant resources in a professional re-design and renovation of the condo — a large unit in an older building — and it was important to us that we were able to tell its story to prospective purchasers. Eileen and her team developed high end, informative marketing materials that attracted numerous prospective purchasers, in addition to helping us to present the condo in the best light that it deserved. Selling a property can be stressful, but Eileen guided us through the process and provided strategic advice until we sold the unit. We were pleased with the outcome of both transactions, and have already recommended Eileen to friends and colleagues. For me the most important aspects of working with someone on my real estate transactions were knowing that I could depend on them for complete honesty when I asked “what do you think?”, and knowing that when I asked a question - by text, email or phone - a response would always be minutes away; not hours, not days.
