Was browsing around your web, there's a lot going on your company. Really impressed me, motivates me to take some lessons in the future. I might drop by to your studio or might register for a free trial belly dance.

It is a good place once you are there, however when trying to contact them through phone, email, and voicemail...you will not hear back from them, not even a call back. I had to go to another studio simply because of this.

Been wanting to try this place. Checked their schedule few times and classes disappear few weeks after sessions start. Are they getting cancelling? Why list so many beginner classes if you're going to cancel them? Off putting! Will try a different studio.

I have taken belly dance classes here (on and off) since 2008 and have only great things to say about this school. The classes are organized into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and are taught by experienced instructors in a fun, engaging manner. The beginner class breaks down the fundamentals in a way that makes it easy for anyone to follow along while the intermediate and advanced classes build on the fundamentals and incorporate more complex choreography. The instructors, particularly Nadia (who owns the school) and Katy, are amazing!! They are friendly, patient and encouraging. Everyone, from the beginner to the advanced dancer, is invited to present a choreographed dance for the annual recital, which is the highlight of the year as all the dancers share what they have learned for family and friends. The classes are very high energy and are great physical exercise as well as good for building self confidence and mental strength (it’s not easy remembering and performing a choreographed dance!). There is flexibility within the weekly class schedule, however, despite being able to attend classes on different days each week, a camaraderie develops between dancers as everyone is there to learn, grow and (most importantly) have fun. Class prices are reasonable with a variety of payment structure options, including discounts if you pay for a full year of classes. Parking (especially in the winter)is the only drawback to taking these classes located on the Danforth.

The instructors are knowledgeable and very patient with students. However, it is a big disappointment that they don't inform people when classes are cancelled. This is the second time that had happened. For example, I sat through the traffic for an hour today and came to Wednesday's beginner class and was told by the instructor that the class is cancelled when I get there.

Instructor was nice and a talented dancer, but the pacing of the class was off and her cues during the warm-ups are difficult to follow. Also, a lot of time is spent drilling individual moves but not much else, making the class feel slow and tedious. I would recommend doing one or two drop-in classes to make sure you like their style first, as the school doesn't offer refunds and is pretty expensive.
