About Edmonton New Technology Society
The board of directors at ENTS is comprised of 5-7 volunteer members who maintain the facility and community partnerships.
Elected at the Annual General Meeting in September, ENTS board members serve for one-year terms.
The board meets every other week to discuss affairs, review opportunities and address concerns. Directors are expected to attend the weekly open house to tour prospective members.
Interested members should ask to sit in on directors meetings at least twice prior to running for a position on the board.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent group of people, fun and lively. They have a great deal of items for people to use including workspaces, computers, some musical equipment, offices for rent, and woodshop. Members pay for access, guests welcome to drop by most Tuesday evenings. The only downside was clutter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has a tonne of tools; a woodshop, metal shop, electronics area, laser cutter, 3D printer and space to work on projects. The layout is a little strange, but it doesn't matter with what you get access to. The people are very friendly and always willing to lend a hand or answer questions.

From old-school wood working and metal machining to electronics and 3d printing. They even have a clay/pottery area.
Everybody there is super helpful too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I suppose if you can afford transportation for the materials to work on them. 3 strikes your out, except excusing yourself is like 20 strikes. I'll pay for my medical license in another province cause this is a terrible place to live.
