honestly am amazed by what the actual principal has achieved in the past 3 years! Full time support ON SITE for children with difficulties, summer camp, partnerships with other schools, science program, etc... My son is happy and so am I.

My son finished his 4th grade school year in June 2017. As of December 2017, parents still don't have the final version of the report cards. I recently found out they will be printed only in March 2018, 9 months after the end of the school year, If you get charged abusive fees for cancelling the contract, you can contact the Ministère de l'Éducation to make a formal complaint. Despite the contract, they still have to go by the "loi sur l'enseignement privé", and the Ministère can guide you in understanding the law.

I'm giving it one star because 0 star was not an option. I sent my 2 kids there for about 2 years and I can tell you that this had to be the worse decision I have ever made. What they tell you before you sign up your kids is completely different from what you really get. The direction is totally clueless, disrespectful and unorganized. They should not even be called a montessori school when there is no full-time certified montessori teacher in each classroom , as they proudly advertise, since some of their "Montessori" instructors are still in training but featured as certified Montessori. At one point, they only had one teacher in training spread in 3 different classrooms. As far as the direction goes, communication is great BEFORE you enroll your kids. Then your emails and questionnes are answered 3-4 weeks later, If ever answered. Avoid this institution at all cost. Not worthed :((((((

We have experienced different elementary schools for my daughter. We even had her enrolled in another "Montessori" school in Montréal, which was not a REAL Montessori school and it was clear that their main objective was to fill clasrooms to the maximum capacity permitted by law (26 children per class). This is not the case at EMIM!!! Here classes are small in size (7 last year, 12 this year). What does that achieve? A LOT of personalized, inividual attention from teachers, who in addition to knowing your children Inside out, also LOVE each child in their classroom for his/her uniqueness. My daughter's progress has been unprecedented since joining this school and we are happy to go out of our way (Chateauguay) to drive her to EMIM every single day. We strongly recommend for any child that might have some attention deficit or might just not "fit in" in any other school.

My grandson has attended the EMIM summer camp program for 3 years. Each year he has experienced a variety of activities and dynamic themes. The program has a balance of educational and engaging activities, as well as, physical activities to keep him moving all summer long. Also, he was able to develop his social skills and he created close bonds with the other children that last throughout the year and into the next. My regret is that there is not a program for grade 7 students! I highly recommend both the program and the dynamic staff. My grandson thanks you for the memories.

My daughter has been this school for over 6 years. The administration has changed throughout the years but the past 3 years were FANTASTIC! The staff is great with the kids and the communications are smoother than what they used to be. Sure there is always room for improvement but this is a great school and the current team is extremely efficient.

By far the best private elementary school in the area. My daughter has been attending since the age of three. The dedicated, caring and personal touch that each and every teacher extends to the students shows in the development of the children. This is a school where they really care and follow each and every childs pedagogy individually to insure that they are given all the necessary tools for success in life. Wish I could rate them more than 5 stars.

This is by far the best private school in the area. My daughter got technically kicked out (over a formality) from the previous school because she needed constant “supervision” (or so I was told...). I was torn wether to tell EMIM staff about it or not. I decided to be open about it as i did not want to go through this horrible experience again where your baby is - not only - treated like some sort of “damaged good” but feels it is not living up to expectations on a regular basis. I am so glad I did! 3 weeks in I could see a significant change in my daughter’s attitude. I cried my heart out: I was relieved. That was 2 years ago..
