Both the service and the food were great, all of the vegetarian options we tried were quite flavourful and thoughtful. We really enjoyed the chickpea fries and the cucumber salad in particular, would definitely return.

On the plus side, this means you can order a wide variety of items to try! The atmosphere was relaxed, comfortable and not too loud while also having a great modern vibe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here, won't be the last! This place offers up simple but simply elevated classic snack foods in tapas size portions. I had the chickpea fingers (definitely recommend), the burger, and the beef hand pie. It was enough for a hungry man. All were good, although the "flakiness" of the hand pie advertised on the menu might be overstated. That dough needs more butter and less work if you want some flake.
The vibe of the place is relaxed, and the music let's you know you're somewhere casual. It skews younger than older. Seats by the window are prime for discreetly watching the parade of people strutting down Kensington.
My only complaint is $9.50 beers - there's only two on draft and that's more upscale pricing than this place warrants. The price of drinks, in general, signals that this is a place for a quick bite and not a place to linger. Still, I'll come back.
