★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, great players fun environment. They just need to have a sound person/expert. This would put them at the top. That’s my recommendation to the owner Mike Clark. It was the same issue when they were on 11ave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this place by accident...so glad we did. We now look forward to going here every time we come to Calgary. They have the absolute best tacos I have ever eaten (and I would consider myself a taco afficianado). Add to that great live music and a nice relaxed vibe - what more could you want.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally a veggie taco that is filling, delicious & satisfying! Most places around town charge an absurd amount for a tortilla with a few mushrooms in it. Mikey’s veggie tacos were such a nice surprise tonight. My friend had a few other of the meat options- we were both very happy with our tacos. 10/10 will order again. On top of that- usually take out food doesn’t look that good by the time you get it, and I wish we took a picture of the presentation. Because it looked so damn good I didn’t wanna eat it. 10/10/10 .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great Saturday night (oct 23) with the live band!! Nice original tunes and covers played.
Sound level was perfect, loud enough to be "live" and no over drivin, drums, guitar, vocals, keyboard GREAT SOUND BALANCE. we all agreed.
Did not eat myself, but the rest of our group enjoyed the food. Another reason to come back. Waitress was overwhelmed and very busy but did her best.
And how, can you not love a bar that has a head rest above the urinals?

The happy hour is great with Special prices on appetizers the small ribs are my favourite.
The music is great free music at happy hour it’s amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Mikeys for the first time today after hearing rave reviews and it was awesome! Loved everything about it from the ambience, to the food, to the awesome servers/bartenders.
We did the 3 tacos for $11 and loved all 3. My favorite was the shredded beef taco, but they were all amazing! Excited to come back for live music ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had heard a lot about Mikey’s as this is a nice place for live music. We went on Friday evening and initially it wasn’t crowded at all. They also had musical performance from 9pm which had $10 cover. But cover charges only apply on weekends. They have live shows all throughout the week which is great and those are free of charge. We tried their draught : honey wheat ale and wild rose (raspberry). Both the beers were great. Their fish tacos were also very refreshing and crispy which i loved. Also tasted their hot wings and those were pretty decent too. They also have pool, dart, video games etc. So it can be fun for a big or small group. Overall a nice place to hang out especially if you love live music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Online ordering app was messing up and a staff and manager went out of their way to help us get our order during dinner rush. They were super kind and wonderful!
And on top of it those might be the best tacos I've ever had in Calgary! Mikey's is the best!
