Abdul and his dad show passion & drive to make sure their customer is satisfied. Not only did they fix my car, they even shared their lunch with me. Its hard to find a good mechanic & cook.

The mechanics here seemed honest the first time I visited, however, I began to worry when my car began making squealing noises when the engine warmed up the day after I drove my car home (it had been running when I came to pick it up so there wasn’t squealing at that time). I didn’t have time to go back and leave my car again, so it wasn’t until I started having other problems that a mechanic at a different shop said the alternator was broken and the battery light came on. I went back and explained the issue to the older mechanic at Easy Auto Repair and he told me to come back when there was an actual problem (the battery light turned off once I turned off my car and restarted it). He then looked under the hood and started my car (it has no gauge on the dash to show the battery charge) and claimed the battery was full without doing a reading, likely because he assumed I wouldn’t realize he had no way to tell. He wasn’t taking my complaints seriously, so I asked him to talk to my other mechanic (over the phone) he told him that the battery was at 14, which he couldn’t know without a reading. When his son Abdul agreed to take a look, he confirmed that the alternator wasn’t working and fixed it (although my car was completely dead when I came to pick it up and the older mechanic jumped it and said to run the engine for 10 minutes, which is definitely not enough time to charge the battery). The problems did not stop though. When I had more issues, I went back to my previous mechanic. He noticed a belt that was hanging off, he said it was related to the alternator repair. When I asked him to speak to Abdul (they realized they knew each other) he questioned him about the belt and why the alternator was not charging the battery. Abdul told him that a bolt was crooked and my mechanic mentioned that this was something that he should have fixed, and suggested that Abdul was doing the bare minimum. I was not going to give their shop any more money so I went to a third mechanic who provided pictures of the two belts that were damaged (both still partially attached, one was disintegrating). They mentioned that while fixing the alternator Abdul would definitely have noticed that the belts were in poor shape, and that connectors under the car were left unplugged, and should have fixed them. Two trusted mechanic shops have told me that the work from Easy Auto Repair was incomplete and could lead to further expensive repairs on my car. It can be difficult to trust mechanics already, but I have never gotten service like this and I do not recommend them.
