β β β β β First time trying this place. Food was delicious, meat was tender and cooked just nice. Great portion size for the price. Owner was nice, food was ready to pick up on time. Will eat here again!

β β β β β We ordered a phone order at 7:15pm. The guy on the line said the food will be ready in 30 to 40 Mins. We went to pick up the food 40 Mins later and the food wasn't ready.
There was 5 other people ahead of us. Mind you, the food was to be ready before Ifttar. It seems the restaurant is heavily understaffed, but as a business, they shouldn't be taking any orders that can't be fulfilled within a timely manner.
It is currently 8:29pm and Im still waiting for the food to be ready..
The gentlemen at the front seems like a nice guy, but I'm not here to be greeted by a nice guy, I want my food on time.
None the less, the business should focus on its staffing model, its ability to deliver promises, and food on time. You should tell customers a time and then take twice as long. It's unprofessional and this is how you lose business.
First time and last time ordering from here.
Stick to the usual bamiyan and kandahar kabob. This was a complete joke of an experience.

An afghan who's hungry for food and doesn't like waiting 1.5 hours for a 40 min prepped meal. The man took 10 mins to just cash us out. Did not know how a register functions.
Post dinner:
The order was completely wrong, we ordered 4 sultani, 4 Tikka and 2 chaplis, we were given 4 chicken breasts and tandoori chicken with no kofta kabob at all. They also forgot to give us our salads and sauces.
The verdict is the food is 2/5.
The chicken kabob was good but raw on the inside.
The Tikka kabob was like chewing on a rubber ball. The flavour was there, but it was too well done.
Nonetheless, it would have been nice to actually get what I ordered.

β β β β β I was waiting at the Honda Showroom across the street cause that's what they're good for - making you wait . Google suggested this as a place, I visited and tried them. The food is good, if you like afghan food you'll like this, nothing to rave about though. The place is cozy, they have floor deck seating, you can sit and eat Afghan style.
The prices are okay (could be better). $17.50 for everything you see in the picture.

We have made it a thing to try a new restaurant each Friday and Afgan Kabob did not disappoint! Large portion and amazing meats! And the kindest gentleman at the counter.
Thank you Afghan Kabob Restaurant for starting our weekend off right !
