โ โ โ โ โ I'm so glad East West is my neighborhood grocery store! They started out as an Asian grocer (and they still have an assortment of ethnic foods). But they've also adapted to customer demand and carry an impressive - and growing - selection of products that are organic, locally sourced, fair trade, eco-friendly etc. I'm thrilled that their home section includes quite a few soaps and household cleaners that have a good EWG score (ie low toxicity and environmental impact). Friendly staff too!

โ โ โ โ โ The kind of grocery store you hope to have in your neighborhood. Fresh, organic produce, often locally sourced; an amazing selection of Asian, Latin and European specialty foods, plus high quality pantry staples. 10/10

โ โ โ โ โ An absolutely wonderful little grocery store. Great selection of international foods, and the produce is also quite good. Slightly difficult to social distance in, but offers most things larger chains do as well as some more difficult things to find. I love supporting them.

โ โ โ โ โ I love this place because itโs independent and local, but a lot of the stuff we buy from there is already bad or about to be. Thereโs little surprise when we open oat milk, mangoes, etc and itโs already bad regardless of appearance or expiry date.

โ โ โ โ โ Although it is a smaller market, you could buy almost all the groceries (vegetables, fruits, spices, etc. ) you need. The prices for organic apples are less than a regular sized super market, but as they are not stored on the a temperature controllable shelf/container, they are less fresh. A great variety if snacks from different manufacturers than what we typically know, but they are pricy too.
