★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We drove from Prince George to get to the Opal beds but were seriously disappointed. The trail into the opal beds is completely blocked by deadfall and is not passible unless you have a chainsaw. Had to turn back after about 15 minutes of walking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lot of potential for this trail. Unfortunately a lot of what was there is lost to logging and landslides. Very difficult trail due to this as well as other issues such as swampy/flooded areas.
