Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub

Big portions of food (fish and chips for me, meat pie for my wife) and we both liked the food. Busy fun atmosphere where you can grab a drink. We didn't stay for the live Irish music (Friday nights after 9pm) but will be returning again to enjoy this entertainment. Service was great too! Decor was fun.

Great apres and live music. Great selection of beers. Friendly staff and a fantastic atmosphere. Just what you want at the end of the day. Also had apres drinks and lunch there during the stay. Highly recommended.

Seating was fast. Ended up on Bar stools that weren't too comfy. AC wasnt working too well. Bathrooms clean. Food was good. We got a Small nachos, Wings, Pretzels, Jug of Beer and Sangria for around $120. Nachos were the crumbled up bits after eating the first layer. TLDR: Food tasted good, friendly staff, but didn't impress enough to make me want to go back

Traditional Irish pub feel. Casual seating with a mixture of high tops, booths and round tables. Nice live music and good food.

Good little pub with great happy hour specials. We only had the seafood chowder to eat but it was super delicious and rich. All of the drinks were quite reasonably priced and they had huge selection. This is definitely one of the more affordable spots in the village. Great service too!

This review will be a 2 part review as we went to this spot twice in one day. #1 Lunch Review The waitress during the day time was possibly the best waitress I've ever had and I wish we had gotten her name so I could give her the credit she deserves. She seemed to be the only waitress at lunch time covering all the tables and even though she was clearly busy, she was very attentive, polite, fun and entertaining. She kept coming back to make sure our food was good, drinks were filled and to see if there was anything we needed. She also had the best attitude I've seen a waitress have in a long time. #2 Dinner Review The service was a complete 180 from the lunch experience. The waitress only came over 1 time to our table the entire time we were there. She seemed just as, if not, a little less busy than our waitress from lunch (based on the fact that so many more people were working in the evening). She took our drink and food order and basically never came back. She served the table right next to us multiple times..... but I had to flag her down myself multiple times. She never checked to see if there was any issues with the food, never asked if we needed refills on our drinks or water, we had to find her ourselves when we were done to get our bill..... the waitress at lunch set a high standard for this location and I would've given a 5 star review if it wasn't for the evening service. With that said I wish the waitress in the morning had also been our waitress in the evening because she was amazing. She deserves a 5 star rating. The food here is great pub food but service makes or breaks a business and I just had to rate this based off of that.

Yum yum yum in my tum tum! I enjoyed the evening music and the amazing jovial vibe! Got the bangers and smash, they were covered in gravy and I looooved it. My friend got the Guinness steak pie and other friend got the fish and chips. Good pub food.

We had such a great waiter - his service was outstanding! We had fish and chips, chowder and fish tacos and everyone was happy! Teens and adults included. The vibe was spot on for a Irish pub! Great spot for a bite or a beer! Located right at the bottom of excalibur lift… simply walk on down post unloading! Pub fare was fine - average.
