★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old lifts, no bubbles or heated seats. Absolute minimum investment. Many alpine lifts open several hours after the official opening times. Alpine lifts also close early. Anyone who's skies in Europe, in particular Austria will be disappointed with the Whistler lift facilities!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Opening day today for the ski lifts. Wish I could be there. I think we all know that Whistler has the best ski and snowboarding in the world. We visited in the summer this year and I have to share with you that it is also a mega summer event experience as well. Ride the Peak to Peak gondola and view some spectacular sights from scenery to wildlife. Literally a birds eye view. Enjoy biking, hiking, swimming and many more activities. My wife always enjoys the shops and restaurants. Special mention to the El Furniture Warehouse as they have our vote for best local hangout, drinks and food. Hope to see you soon as I am dying to hit the slopes this year in 2018.
