Long line on a powder day! Started waiting at 8:10 but the gondola didn't start until 8:45 (15 min late).

A lively little village with all the basic amenities and shops. BUT for the number of visitors, it should have 5 times as many dining options. That was disappointing. For dining variety you are forced to Whistler Village and a different vibe than the cute and quieter Creekside. Unfortunate.

Very beautiful and quite European. For my first time in Canada, I'm very happy to have stayed there.

Creekside Village is a triage for skiing stuff, food stuff and beer&spirits. It is complemented with gym/spa, Starbucks and public washrooms. There are professional offices and daycare. It is a pretty site at night, and a busy thoroughfare by day. Creekside Village is a quaint spot and the cornerstone to many of the amenities off Lake Placid Road.

Quaint little promenade of the basic essentials for food, liquor, coffee, baked goods and sporting goods. There is a training centre along public washrooms. Professional services are scattered all around while it is booked ended by community square and the gondola lift base.

Mountains. I mean they're ok if you like beautiful scenery + shopping and good people. But other than that it's pretty mediocre.

This was the ideal place to park underground for free. It's Whistlers best kept secret.

We stayed at our Creekside condo a week during the early part of the shoulder season. The Creekside chair closed and life slowed down nicely for us non- skiers. Basics are available here about 2.5 miles south of Whistler village: groceries, restaurants, Tim Hortons donuts. But it's easy to drive over to Whistler to stroll the village streets as well. Busses are not running right now due to a labor relations problem. Hopefully that will turn around soon. We also walked a bit of the Sea to Sky Trail. (Saw no bears.) We have been going to Whistler for 30 years and love it more and more.
