In and out in 2hrs or so. I was here today to write G1 knowledge test and it went pretty well and smoothly. I arrived at around 6:23 am and after 40 minutes of waiting outside in the cold, I was called to get in. I was number 13 in line; they were calling groups of 10 people at a time to get inside. While inside everything was relatively organized and after about 35 min I finally managed to sit behind a computer and finish the test. The test itself was easy and if you have done practice tests before, these are quite similar. A few tips for when you are in the line: - Come as early as possible. The center opens at 7:00 but try to be there before 6:30. - Check the weather and be prepared. - Bring water and something to eat. - Bring Headphones. Note: If you are bringing translated docs, make sure they were translated in Ontario or they might not be accept it.

We came around 7 AM for Drive Knowledge test and we had about 45 people already lined up ahead of us. Location opens at 8:30 AM. At 8:30 there were about 200 people behind us. That’s insane … We finished around 10:40. So almost 4 hours drained out of our weekend time. And we paid full Tax and charges … ??? Staff did well managing the lines and kept it going as well… so kudos to them. What is the government doing to address this at all??? Sleeping/ Ignorant?? That’s bad governance…. Simply put!! The review is about whoever is governing these tests …. Not for the location itself. Hope the premier takes notice and show he cares!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR YOUR G1 WRITTEN TEST!!! I arrived there at 11AM, and waited 7 HOURS in line, and ended up NOT GETTING TO DO THE TEST. They were handing out tickets to the first 100 people in line at 12PM, and I did not get one. I was lining up right after the 100th person with a ticket, and around 6PM they finally announced that they are NOT serving anyone else who does not have a ticket. They close at 7PM, theres still an hour left, SO I don’t get why they didn’t let anyone in anymore. What’s even more frustrating is that the worker allowed one person behind me in line to go in, “claiming” that that person had a ticket. However, that person was behind me in line, so there’s NO POSSIBLE WAY he had a ticket!! Also the employees there were very rude. Don’t ever go there.

Before you come, just know you will always be waiting outside in a long line. So dress accordingly. They have 11 stalls where they could staff 11 employees. I waited outside for 1 hour, got inside at 8am. They only staffed 3x employees!! It's really upsetting. Extremely frustrating. It's quite pathetic. If I could give it Zero stars I wouldnt hesitate. This photo was takes at 6:57AM and a big line up already.

RUN AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN!!! I wish I could give a negative five-star rating. G1 tests have an average waiting period of more than 5 HOURS TO BE SERVED!!! I arrived at 8:30 a.m. Friday, but it wasn't until 13:30 that I was able to see the staff's face. If you insist on coming here by yourself, bring plenty of water, food, and a POWER BANK because you will be standing in the sun for an eternity.

Had a pleasant experience inside the Drive test center. Visited this place on a chilly snowy day with a temperature as low as -16, wore three layers of cotton trousers including thermal pants which weren't enough to stand outside in the weather, it's better to wear high quality winter clothing. I was at the location by 7:30 on a Saturday with around 25 people before me and was able to get in by 8:50 and exchanged my out of province license with a temporary one and came outside by 9:15. If you want to get things done quickly better come at least 1 hour before the opening time or else after 8:30 the line will have at least 70-100 people before you. Get all the documents required upfront else you will be turned away. To exchange other Canadian licenses you will need an original license, passport and a drivers license abstract (saw that not every one requests it, I wasn't asked about it but few people at the different counter were turned away because of that).

Today I passed my G1 exam from here. Every single person who are working there was so helpful?. Just one thing keep in mind, if you don’t want to stay whole day in line you should come early morning between 6am to 6:30am. I reached there at 6am sharp and I was the no 4 in the line. After 1.5 hours I found 100 people behind me ? .. So be the early bird if you want to come back home quickly.

FOR ANYONE WRITING A G1 KNOWLEDGE TEST: Lineups start well before the centre opens. Be sure to be at this location by 6 AM if you expect to get your test done before noon. Service inside the centre is extremely poor, as only two kiosks remain open, despite there visibly being 5-6 staff doing nothing inside. Signs around the centre state that no threats and violence will be tolerated, leading to refusal of service. Yet, many of the staff are quite rude and refuse to treat customers as humans. Will refuse couples from sitting together, and will happily yell at customers who struggle with English. Don't expect to find a seat. COVID protocols seem fairly stringent, and you may get lucky with a staff member who's not in a bad mood. Your best bet is to come with a family member and have them tag in and out with you as you use the bathroom in the nearby Starbucks. Test is completed on touchscreen monitors so be sure to wash your hands after. Questions from online tests (ex: G1.ca) are sufficient. Software lets you know if you got a question correct/incorrect as you progress through the test, so you know whether you passed or not.
